Mett could definitely be a dual threat. He killed Ole Miss's defense on this play. I love how good he is about reading defenses and checking out of plays.

at one point we were almost 50/50 on our pass and run plays
When?

LSU was pretty consistently a 2:1 run to pass team.

I'm calling it now.

Mett will not play. Miles will tell us he's "nicked".

He will want to keep his ability as a "strategic advantage".

Can't see that happening at all. I think Miles realizes that the he needs to lift Tiger spirit after this Jan. happened.

And another thing, why is it that so many are always trying to change a brother's position from QB to some other shite? Just simply stating a fact that's all. When was the last time you heard of someone suggesting a position change for a white QB not named Tim Tebow? I really want to know.

Black QBs are generally better athletes, thus being able to fit better into other positions. White QBs are generally a more pro style, pocket passing style, which is really only good for QB.

Just sincerely asking man. It's just frustrating being the young black man that I am hearing so often that a black QB should be moved, he is not smart enough, or he doesn't fit the mold. I just like everyone to be given a fair shot because I think talk like that has too long discouraged young black players from trying to become a QB because he will fall into one of those categories. I love all races except a$$holes from any race and I love to see any human being do well in life. I just want everyone to have a fair shot.

Sorry to deviate from the topic a little bit there, but I think it's Mett and JR as the two starters with both backups playing with both teams at some point as usual.

That's long time ago right there. Matt Jones is the only other I could think of other than the Patriots' boys. That's not many at all.

It was earlier in the season. Someone had posted the numbers in a thread about that topic on here.... maybe around the 4-5th game???? It was pre- JJ return.

Through the first four games(pre JJ's return), LSU passed 98 times and ran 172. Total plays equals 270 which means LSU passed 36.3% and rushed 63.7%. Pretty darn close to a 2:1 ratio.
