LINK

Has anybody seen this kid play live? On film he looks pretty solid. Quick release, good foot work, could use a little more arm but he was only a junior in the highlight. I'm not sure whether to think he's flying under the radar and some of the scouting sites are just dropping the ball on him or he just looks good on film and isn't as good as his highlights suggest.

Must be under the radar!
He looks great to me
Fearless, great touch, very good accuracy, with some work he could be elite.

Les may not like his "skill set".

He's been STM's passing QB since his soph. year. He's pretty solid.

Prostyle QB, a little undersized.

I doubt LSU will offer.

Doesn't look like he's got much of an arm.

Other guys on the radar, coaches may take 2 qbs so he could very well get an offer. Plus after the coaches get these qbs to camp we will know more on which ones they favor.

STM played Evangel on Cox sports this past season. He looked great in the second half. They set up the run and then throw deep. Like LSU did with Lee. The WR (LSU baseball commit) caught a couple of deep passes from him in the second half to extend a small lead into a big one. If I remember right someone from that area said Bama was on him this past year. May have been Darrysomething? Whoever it was will show up in this thread for sure.

The QB who was at Alexandria, C.J. Gatlin, looked good last season too. They beat East Jefferson in the 1st round of the 2011 playoffs.

Looks like Gatlin had 2452 yards passing (169 256) had 21 TD's with 10 INT's. Maxpreps

Throwing motion reminds me of Danny Wuerffel.

Very good timing, accuracy and anticipation. Not a great arm but will probably get picked up by someone at a mid level school or D1-AA and make someone a good QB.
