It's obvious that his brother Greg was orchestrating this, because he says "we saw a lot of Scott Drew" when the coach says Drew only came once.

I called Rico out on this bullshite in the Original thread.
Some of you peeps owe Trent an apology.....not saying we shouldn't find a better coach/recruiter, but he definately recruited Rico harder than anyone else.

Yea I recant some of the stuff I said about Trent in the original thread in regards to Ricardo's recruitment. Obviously something is up here. Complaining Trent only saw him once this year, then commits to a guy who also saw him once. Something isn't right here.

Trent certainly has plenty to be criticized about, and we will know soon if he should even retain his job. However, it appears he recruited Gathers extremely hard.
He failed to sign him, and can be rightly criticized for that. But he put in the work.
There does look to be something really fishy going on with this story.

It's crazy that you guys think that there must be some kind of underhanded stuff going on here - Baylor is a great basketball program. We aren't. It would have been a much larger surprise for him to come to LSU. Is it a huge upset if a 5-star football player from Idaho chooses USC over Boise? No. Nor should it be here.

he's feeling a little guilty so he's projecting his guilt onto trent because he wants trent to be the bad guy and not rico. very obvious.

I am honestly very glad this guy is not coming to LSU. This kid is either a nutjob or is being manipulated to look like one, either way I want him elsewhere.
