Yeah - my wife don't care when I fish as long as I take her when she wants to go.

I dated a girl for two years who didn't really care. She liked her weekends for whatever she did on weekends. :inb4shewasdoingCF:

This is why I am not married. I tend not to try to work through a problem that I forsee being an ongoing event. Buying guns, going to the camp, dogs, dog training, fishing, and generally
F%c*ing off are things I love to do. The majority of women seem to not understand that I do not need their opinion or approval in these categories and the things listed above are definitely ongoing.

My wife doesn't care actually encourages it. Tells me sometimes to get out of the house before I drive her crazy.

My wife grew up with her dad leaving every weekend to go fishing or hunting so she doesn't see anything wrong with it. And when she wants to go I'll bring her with me but that's not often

I'll never forget coming home from school on Fridays as a kid when dad was off (he's worked shift work my whole life). I would get home, mom would Already have dads truck loaded up with all of my shite as I was in the house for max 5 minutes before she ran us out saying we better not come back till Sunday night

This. She only wants to evening fish though because she doesn't like to wake up early.

Been married since '88 my FIL owns a tract of forest land and doesn't hunt. In the fall we go up, she's visits mom and dad while I get away to the woods.

Mine never bitches about weekends. She does however get a little antsy when I go on week long benders, but thats usually not till the following Saturday after I have been gone a week.

This year one Saturday after a week she called me asked if I would come home, it was understandable, but my response was...

If I come home we are both going to be mad, why I don't I just stay and you be mad. Wrong answer.

Mine don't bitch about my fishing but she sure does remind me how much I spend on my boat and tackle every time she wants something for herself.

Been married for almost 14 years..wife doesn't really care one way or the other...I fish and hunt pretty much when I want. The thing that keeps me around the house these days are the kids and all the activities they are involved in. Not much time for hunting and fishing right now.

The only thing my wife will do is make a smart a$$ remark about the number of guns I have every once in a while...then I bring up shoes and purses and we go our seperate ways...

Its definitely a give and take I don't give her any crap for what she goes and does. Women are genetically engineered to complain so if I go make a purchase of some sporting goods I just walk in the house with muddy boots she raises cane about the boots tracking up her floor I beg forgiveness while I put my stuff up.

My wife is pretty good about it. As long as I take care of stuff around the house, she usually encourages it. The only thing she made me promise is that I wouldn't buy myself any more guns... because in the future she wants to give them to me as gifts. I said I could live with that.

She broke down at the end of the season. I had to pass up the best hunting trip of the year. But in all honesty, I don't think I could have taken off work anyway. I think I went to work 4 or 5 days in about 6 weeks. I think I win more than I loose. Our relationship definitely wouldn't work if she didn't "let" me go hunting/fishing.

It is a whole lot easier to beg for forgiveness than ask permission.
