Things still a little touchy over here.
We have tons of our own fans to do that here.
TD.Com must be the Saban of sports sites (to use analogy you can relate to such as poisoning trees, no teeth...etc..) because when LSU beat Bama I would never have ventured over to your sites, nor will I ever.

Better wake up. The "unending praise " is justified. Watch this year's NFL draft and see how many Alabama players go in the first round ( 4 or 5 ). If you think the kids that dream of playing pro football don't see that, you had better remain in the hills of Ten. Also, check Alabama's list of commitments for 2013---they already have 3 of the top players committed. The gap is widening whether you want to admit it or not. We should have beat them on Jan.9---it may be a while before we get another chance.

Bama being in the limelight so much over these kids teenage years is more true and important than people give credence to. They are in the same vein as the Carroll USC teams in stature. That plays a huge role in recruiting. The media age we're currently in exposes these kids to soo much more than in the past. The kids that aren't loyal to LSU from birth are going to be smitten with the Bama brand
agreed, the media has a huge influence on the public perception of what is going on in college athletics, whether its true or not.

I think other schools are telling recruits lies relative to possible NCAA issues in the Willie Lyles fiasco. Moreover, I have heard that coaches around the conference are doing this right now...speaking lies relative to NCAA probation issues that are not going to occur.

Why don't you look up which SEC team has the most players on NFL rosters at the moment. It's not even close.

I consider the teams at the top of the sec a dominate contender for a NC, we all know our conference is a step ahead of everyone.
So you are making up your own definitions.
If you win the SEC, you have a good chance to make the BCS CG (and if you are one special school, that's not even necessary). That makes you a contender, a dominant contender means something else.
Look I'm not saying Alabama isn't one if not the top program at the moment, but I'm sorry, when you need blocked FG's to beat a crappy Tenn in 2009, that's not dominance. Your 2008 team was not as good as their record, you needed how many picks to beat LSU's worst team since the 20th century in OT, 2010 you lost games and were 4th in the SEC W, that's not dominating necessarily.
95 Nebraska was dominant, they beat everyone by at least 14.

that's it?
you didn't see any other reason why LSU lost that night?
When 2 teams are as evenly matched as Bama and LSU it all comes down to preparation and game motivation. Bama was coming off losing to us at home and we were being proclaimed as one of the best teams of all time. It does not take a rocket scientist to get how this game was set up. I really did not think we would be as flat as we were. So you have to ask why? It's motivation. The LSU team that was all over the field in the first game was not there in the 2nd game.
It's the reality of the series for the next few years until Saban or Miles is gone. And as the saying goes any time can win on any given day.

no doubt and media coverage makes a big impact. The media, especially ESPN treat Saban like a God. Not that he hasn't earned it for the most part. He's great, best in the biz, but it goes overboard a bit. Compare that to the way Les is portrayed as goof, the mad hatter etc.

You're living in the past, Jon. As long as Satan is at Alabama, they will outrecruit LSU and put more players in the NFL first and second rounds of the draft.

You're a troll or a very negative person. Let's see, Brockers and Claiborne will go ahead of any Bama players in this NFL's draft and they will be in the top 6 picks. Please leave and go back to tide fans.com

I agree with Claiborne but I really doubt Brockers will be a top 6 pick. I would say it is 50/50 that Brockers goes before Richardson or Upshaw.

In the past 5 years, LSU and Bama have each had 6 first round picks, if I'm not mistaken.

Scout did a story that since 2003 when Saban had this thing rolling, LSU has received signatures for 86% of instate players offered. 16 of 19 instate offers have committed this year. That's 84% and probably the best instate ratio of offers to commits.
Bourque is afraid of competition, Collins is pussy whipped, and Devall doesn't fit our system at LB. shite like this will happen each year as we continue to sign 80-90% of our instate offers. The sky is not falling; you just think it is cause Saban finally got the states top player.

by a while do you mean This November? Because LSU has a great chance to beat Alabama this year and next. Beyond that, its hard to say, because we don't know how these classes will pan out, what coaches will be on staff etc. This LSU class may be disappointing, but we'll see how it finishes and how things go in 2013. 2014 is supposed to be a great year in La (though sadly in Alabama as well).
This is a nice stat, but it doesn't mean what you think. Its reaching and indicitive of someone with their head buried in the sand. Like bringing up 2000 UAB or 2007 ULM. Bama was down in the early 2000's, just like LSU was down in 90's so that affects the overall totals. do you think an 17/18 y/o kid cares who had more draft picks in 2004 when he was 8 or in 2010 and 11? Both schools have had several guys drafted lately.

This is why this argument is pointless. BOTH programs will continue to put players in the NFL. LSU could have 3-5 first rounders next year as well; TM7, SM99, TS24, ER1, BM49, CF76. I believe 3 are essential locks. I have seen projections and they all have TM7, SM99, and CF76 As top 20 prospects.

Ok, I was trying to prove a point to the negative guy saying how inferior LSU is to Bama. Les is 3-3 against Saban, 5-3 against Bama and 2-1 against Saban in BDS. Are those skewed stats as well?

They had an awesome team with a lot of eligible players. It's not rocket surgery.

Only time will tell. There is more to consider in reality than recruiting stars or a few big name players.

Says you. I thought otherwise. I remember No.1 LSU beating No3 Ole Miss in 1959 by 7-3, maybe you've heard about it. We were REMATCHED in the Sugar Bowl and played as uninspired as we did on 1/9/12, and lost 21-0. Sound familiar.

please realize that LSU has had their fair share of violations before saying shite like this dude.
this implies LSU is at least average in terms of major violations. Very far from true.
LSU had never had a major violation until Lester Earl came along, i believe. And never one in football that I'm aware of until the recent Akiem thing with one asst. And the NCAA praised LSU for how it handled it. LSU got off with minimal damage for a "major" violation.
Now, compare that to the histories of Florida, Auburn, Alabama....

I think both have had 7. All of Alabama's have been in the last 3 years and they will probably have 4 this year to LSU's 2. Part of that because a lot of LSU's key players were underclassmen this year. LSU could have more first rounders in 2013 depending on who goes pro early : Montgomery, Reid, Faulk and maybe Mingo could be first rounders.
Both are cranking out guys to the NFL, but Alabama has big momentum going on right now.
