to expect better than that is unrealistic though.

He'd still be way under .500 in SEC play.

I like Trent but if we don't make the ncaa tour, start looking for new coach.

I was at the game fans showed up team did not!

I remember Dale Brown and the play he got out of his players when they were underdogs. We should iin his fourth season expect a close game

TJ needs to go if no NCAA in his fourth year!
Look at AL super team 2nd or third year coach quit making excuses !

our performance in the sec the past 3 years has been absolutely pathetic. Every single game is a beat down or a complete struggle to win

I just love these comments about how LSU wasn't expected to beat Kentucky.

Well no shite. Thanks for enlightening me.

The point is there once was a time when a game against Kentucky wasn't a foregone conclusion. We used to beat them from time to time.

Now we have as much of a chance of beating Kentucky as a frog does of eating Godzilla.

It doesn't have to be this way. We are LSU and we HAVE a basketball tradition at this school. We once we NCAA tourney regulars. We've made Final Fours. We have had superstars play in the Deaf Dome. We have let this program turn to shite in a sport that's not impossible as many think to compete in.

Jesus... Gonzaga is competitive in this sport. Where the frick is Gonzaga?

ETA: I know it's in Spokane. That's not the point.

I bet Trent doesn't look forward to the UT game. If Tennessee beats us, the AD should tell Trent after the game to start looking for a new gig.

The team was left in shambles. The new coach's best player in a new recruit who became eligible a few weeks ago. He's been practicing a couple weeks.

If Trent can't beat a first year coach who inherited a mess in year four of his program, something is terribly wrong.

no excuse for that poor all around 2nd half performance. looked like last 2 seasons teams. saw this same uk given a contest by below average uga and a garbage auburn team. very disappointing.

Trent was 25-4 at one point. After that he's 36-54.
