Almost started a similar thread the other day
Movies drive me crazy with the accuracy people have with a pistol. A 50 yard headshot is nothing to a good guy. Or you see a guy standing up on a bridge in a movie, just point that pistol and he's toast. A 10 yard accurate pistol shot is a good shot; 50 is almost impossible. Especially only given one shot. Gets on my nerves.
Bad guys are a little different though...

I hate the inevitable chase scene at the end of most comedies...where the one person figures out they love the girl and goes thru all this crap to catch them before they get to the airport...
Why can't they just call them after they land or follow them the next day? It's not like they are flying to the moon or something...
This one always makes me laugh. Especially when the chase thing could be something out of the Bourne Identity but they're playing some cheesy country song and it's sunny out so it's instantly not as dangerous. It also helps if the guy is on a bike. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days has the holy trinity.

I also hate the baby having scene in all movies and TV...it so overdone and never interesting, funny or necessary...
Yea it brings nothing usually. The only one I thought was good was the Juno one. The "OMG" face from her friend was hysterical.

But makes up for it by being one of the funniest chick flicks of all time.

I think the biggest example of all would be the good guy running away while the bad guys empty their magazines firing at him and the bullets hit everywhere but his or his sidekick's body.
To me, the biggest example is after this when the good guy fires three shots and somehow kills five people.

or the good guy is using a pistol against bad guys with machine guns and comes out on top with ease.

Have y'all ever noticed that every time a kid goes to college in a movie, it's Harvard or Yale or something?
Do the writers think only dumb people go to regular colleges?

Sports scenes in movies/tv are ridiculous too. There's always some play that would be absolutely illegal by actual sport's rules that the winning team somehow pulls off for the big win.

Fireball explosions in space.
Secretly crawling through air conditioning ducts.
The scream of a hawk in the background (sure, it can happen but it is an overused cliche now to let you know that the characters are away from civilization). Using bird/aniumal calls in the background that are not native to that location (OK, usually they get away with this one).

I hate how apes and monkeys are always so "vocal". It's like they don't know how to shut up.
