anyway, point is yes, gunshot wounds aren't nearly as realistic as they look in movies if that makes sense

Exactly my point. I've never been shot, but I imagine that if a hot piece of lead ripped thru any part of my body I would hit the fricking ground.

You just ruined 90% of the world's martial arts films for us all.

Isn't that one-at-a-time thing some kind of honor thing between Kung Fu practitioners and criminals?

Back in the 80's I set one of mine to pick up after one ring so I could screen my calls.

Oh and another thing...somehow those radio batteries never ran out...

They did. There was an episode that addressed that very issue. The professor figured a way to re-charge the batteries.

Unemployed people can still pay rent, cab fare, and for clothes while also paying for 3 whiskey/scotches and 2 beers every night

Love scenes of a guy with a gun chasing after a guy with no gun. Then, like you mentioned, gunless guy climbs the ladder with a force field around him while guy with gun simply aims at him without firing.

Cars blowing up is also very high on the list.

I hate the inevitable chase scene at the end of most comedies...where the one person figures out they love the girl and goes thru all this crap to catch them before they get to the airport...
Why can't they just call them after they land or follow them the next day? It's not like they are flying to the moon or something...

I also hate the baby having scene in all movies and TV...it so overdone and never interesting, funny or necessary...

Automatically getting knocked unconscious anytime someone gets hit over the head with a pistol, etc

Talking about someone in the next room fairly loudly and they somehow don't hear them

When the main character attempts to fall in love with someone in order to execute some sort of revenge/ scheme.....and it always works

Guys on motorcycles chase scenes popping wheelies as they speed up. It's like the directors think that would make the bike go faster.

People hacking DoD on the reg.

Scanning facial recognition/fingerprint d-bases in a few minutes, and getting a match.

I hate Mexican Stand-offs or any other time multiple people are drawing firearms on one another, but no shots fired.

like this

2 snipers on him, and he turns and threatens with a gun....but no shots.

You can't write the scenes differently?

"Flawless" sex scenes. No bumbling around, no guiding the ol' member in, no condoms. No one gets sweaty or even messes up their hair rolling around like a GD idiot. No cleanup.

I mean seriously.

My biggest pet peeve is that getting knocked unconscious thing. It's like in every scene where that happens, the victim is hit so perfectly as to lose consciousness but never hard enough to get a traumatic brain injury that leads too long term disability or death. Also, once they wake up, aside from a pained wince and rubbing the sore spot, there is no indication of post concussive symptoms at all. They can run around, solve complex riddles, fight at full strength, etc, without any ill effects of their significant injury hindering them.
