I'm gonna need to catchup. I've only watched the 1st season.
I'd wait until the season's over. Having to wait a week between episodes sucks.

Season 2's story is the most consistent thing we see from animes.
It's a tournament arc.
But so far. It's damn good. I really hope this show keeps moving forward after S2, they have a LOT of material left they won't finish this season.
Not that the manga is anywhere close to ending, it's still fairly early in the story. The writer is fairly prolific, apparently.

I finally finished Assassination Classroom. I want to plug it again. For a show that has so many classroom and battle shonen tropes, it has a ton of heart. It's fun, animation is on point, action is awesome, but the root of what makes the show great is the heart it gives ALL of its characters. I can't remember another show that has as much character development, especially not for 30+ characters.
The premise starts off ridiculous, and jumps the shark even beyond that several times. But the heart of the show, and it's characters, keeps you in it. It's fantastic.

Hey Scruffy, I know you liked Is It Wrong to Try To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, aka DanMachi.
Wasn't sure if you saw they released a second season that started in April. It's based more on Aiz Wallenstein, and so far, so good. It's on episode 10, and they are only going through 12. It's basically the same timeline as the first season and weaves between the first season and this season. Showing his, and her perspective. Plus a lot of world and plot building that happens to her and her "clan" in the dungeon.
It's almost as fun as the original. But without goofy Bell Cranel being the main protagonist the show is a little less entertaining. But not by much.
Edit: Also just found out that the second season of Boku No Hero Academia is 2 cour, meaning we get 25 episodes again this season! I thought it was only going to be 12. Color me ecstatic.

Hey Scruffy, another show update for ya.
Did you see there is another season for Rage of Bahamut this summer? I just found out about it, but its already several episodes in. Only thing I know about the show is that Favaro is back in this one and the animation looks to be on par with the first one. I'm about to start it, hopefully its good.
