Point is he has done well when not pressured. ALA tonight. When given significant pressure, things are different.

From the people that actually watched the game he made some good throws under pressure

So the real point is you're just talking out of your arse

People can talk about the lack of D but come on with one week to get it together Lee ended up passing one TD to a reciever from William and Mary's, and another TD to a reciever from Sacred Heart... Take that!

I'm sure the offense was probably pretty vanilla as well Point is he made some money throws

Well my point is, if Lee doesn't have to worry about the blitz then he is great. That's why we always heard how "wonderful" he was in practice. The guy can make all the throws, it's when he has to worry about pressure that he struggles.

He seemed to play well against the Blitz this year

He was the highest ranked QB in the SEC when he got benched

Expkain being an All-SEC Sr, invited to 3 All-star games, and still leading the SEC in pass efficiency. All while being the "back-up"?

And explain these tidbits while you're at it

JJ - 79 sacks, Lee - 21
JJ - 20 ints, Lee - 21
JJ - 42 games played, Lee - 43

I completely agree and I'm actually a Lee fan. But the Lee detractors will always go back to the point that he is afraid to get hit, which as a result has lead to his struggles.

JJ/JL will never take another snap for LSU again. I wish them both well...especially Lee.

Every time I look at the 2 interceptions he thru against Bama it tells me he's not ready for NFL Defenses or Bama's defense.

Looked like he always has to me, which is way better than Jordan.

Lee has the tools. Too bad les and his offensive gurus couldn't come up with ways to utilize them.

Two of the most significant shortcomings of the choice LM made as the perm-QB at the end of the season.

I was happy to see him do so well. And I don't think you can write it off as being due to limits on the D. Heck, I'm pretty sure he's had numbers at least this good for LSU against D1 defenses with no limitations on what they could do.

As the JL detractors usually do with their "afraid of contact" and "won't stay in the pocket" statements.

With the short time to get ready to play with these team mates I think Lee did exceptionally well. Props to him and glad to see he got to play more ball finally.

Leave it to Houston Nutt to have Lee rollout and throw a TD pass. If Les would have called that play vs Bama, Saban would have had a heart attack. I didn't know Lee had feet.

Yeah.. you're talking out your arse, he was actually MUCH better against the blitz than any QB we've had over the last 4 years.
