There is nothing little league about being a starting QB in the NFL for years!
Not to mention the first winning season in Saints franchise history.
Leave it to Houston Nutt to have Lee rollout and throw a TD pass. If Les would have called that play vs Bama, Saban would have had a heart attack. I didn't know Lee had feet.

Per "Brian Lazard", sports writer, Lee graduated via intersession. From his LSU source, as long as Lee graduated before Spring semester, they can offer another player to start in January.

That is what you get when you would rather have a QB with feet not eyes. With the Saints playing a tough Niners defense today, I'm waiting with anticipation to see if Brees is replaced with a QB that has more mobility (Not saying Met. is Drew Brees). Obviously, Lee was not going to see the field either.
You are saying that our facilities were just as good as the other top ranked programs back then?
Really?

Also, look up what those coaches were paid, and their assistant coaches. Even with adjusting for inflation, the money is not even in the same league..... not in the same universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The offense has been changed for Jefferson. I doubt Lee gets many snaps during practice in the offensive sets they used to run with him at QB.

We are all in with Jefferson. Let's hope he does not pull another 30 yard total passing outing or gets hurt.
Go Tigers, Go Jefferson
I was very confident until yesterday. We pass for 30 total yards?
The good news is JJ usually rebounds pretty well with 4 weeks to get ready for the game.

We definitely need to keep JJ healthy, because the offense has been totally changed to fit JJ's style. We will thrive or die with JJ in the DOME.

Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!!
My issue is that we had an offense identity of being a great running and play action offense. For whatever reason, when JJ is in the game, this goes out the window along with intermediate (10 - 20 yard) passing plays. Only the coaches know which quaterback makes the best calls at the line of scrimage, so I'll trust in Miles. Hopefully, he has made the right decision, because it is now Jefferson's team.

Ford Question,
If he transfers this week, since he only played a few plays so far, does he get this year back?
Once transferred, he would have 4 years to play 3?

Best defense vs a team without a large offensive line and big running backs. I want to see how we hold up vs a team that lines up and tries to run right at us.(AL, FL, TN, Arburn)

Compare the size of our front 7 vs 03 and 07 defense?
Booty was already on campus when Saban was hired. Booty was a Curley recruit then Dinardo signee. Anyway, we will be fine this year, because the rest of our QBs have a want to be excellent players, leaders, etc.

Kudos to whatever channel, 5/9 or 705/709, showed the other two back up QBs throwing the ball into the ground as Miles said he has confidence in the two walkon QBs. (Classic)

Lay off the LSU fans, the booing was mainly from non tiger fans. There were many of these at the stadium/concert. (ULL,AL,TN,Ole Miss, etc.)

Game tonight

Where is the best place to buy good tickets before the game tonight outside of the stadium?

OR
The wide receiver running the wrong route....ie not reading the defense in Crowton's offense.

As far as JJ, the defense just needs to cover the primary receiver and keep JJ in the pocket backing up.

Either way, both QBs better improve before the fall or we are in for a long season.
Whoever starts, I think we need the following from our QB this year:
-Know who is most likely to be open before the pass play begins.
-Ability to set up in the pocket, not back, when possible.
-Ability to quickly pick up second and third receivers. (Watch Drew Brees tape)
-Have the time to do the above.
-Ability to throw accuate passes to our players.
May the best man win...............
Did you play Gold, Purple, or Tiger tees?
Did you play when the "ruff" was 1-2 inches high?

After renovations, it is safe to say that you will not be able to shoot the same score.

The problem is that top recruits, especially in MS, TX, FL, want to play for a team that has a chance to play for the National Championship. We should always sign the best in state players. Therefore, once you have a string of 8 - 4 seasons, you lose the recruits that Les has been able to sign in the past. This will result in 7-5 and 6-6 seasons. (Maybe worse)

I'm not saying you have win a Championship, but you have to be in the conversation year after year.
Some of you might not remember this far back, but Jeff Wickersham on Thursday Nights before Curfew. Anyone partying days before the game as opposed to after the game should merit more recognition.

Per Doug Moreau, Shepard really sees the holes well. Anyway, sitting close to the end zone of the bowl game, when we called a run play off tackle, there seemed to be "cut back" opportunities up the middle of the field. The cuts would not have had to be sharp. Our RB, at the time, kept running straight to where the play was called without picking his head up to see other openings. Anyway, lets hope for a better run game next year with whoever runs or blocks.
