I understand a new owner will take it this week and it should really be a big boost. I believe I will pay it a visit for a good dog and to support a local business.

Well a restaurant guy has it now so it should get better and more consistent. I have come to like it.

The old owners sketchy friends hanging out on the deck was the worst part about it. I assume he will take them with him.

I saw that a month ago myself and meant to ask. But it's changed hands so I'll stop in this week, eat and inquire. I do like that little building myself.

I know they are upgrading the buns and grilling all the dogs instead of boiling. Those were probably my two biggest complaints. No plans to move as far as I heard.

Question: who makes thier dawgs? I know they don't do it in house but I see a lot of benoits Cajun seasoning on the tables n figured benoits might make them. That would be a true local product.

Not sure who makes them. It may very well be benoits. That's where I just got all my deer sausage made.

See, I'm the weirdo that much prefers boiled hotdogs. To the point of almost disliking them completely grilled.

Ate there twice. Sonic Chicago dogs are better.

Maybe a change will help.

You're not alone in feeling like that.

Boiled hot dogs is a Southern thing and nothing wrong with them that way. I like them both ways.

I understand the building in front is to become a Coffee Shop.

The new owner is an old friend of the FD board. He will do it right and deserves the local support.

Give me a steamed or boiled dog over a grilled one anyday.
