Hope for the future. Mike Detellier just reminded me.

Fellow ranters I have been on here bitching and moaning ever since the ending of Monday night and certainly that turd ob a Bcs game still does not sit we me very well. I have also scratched my head on our game plan or lack thereof and the refusal of Miles to play Lee or Mett. HOWEVER, I was just listening to Mike Detellier and as he so aptly pointed out Miles has certainly made some faux pas since being here at LSU like the Co-Defensive coordinators, Possible hiring of Crowton and now the determinedness to stick with Jefferson but as Detiller pointed out Miles always corrected when he made those mistakes and Detillier believes he will do the same with the great QBs that we will be having next year.

And then Bobby hit everyone with a beer bottle.

The one problem with this theory is the JJ angle. He did not correct it last season, and after being forced to let someone else play and finding that a different QB could actually make the offense look pretty good, he was determined to replace the new guy with JJ...and stick with that change NO-MATTER-HOW-POORLY-HE-PLAYED.
In short, he has not always fixed things that were clearly broken.

It's one thing to make a mistake, or mess up with some hires (as peoples' careers and families are involved).
It's an entirely different situation to blindly press forward with an inept QB and not try using your backup QB in a game where your offense cannot cross midfield. Not playing Lee during the final games of the season and the championship was a concious decision by Miles because Lee apparently ain't his boy

Another way to say it is Les is only as good as his coordinators. The defense is fine. I want to see what happens with Krags. Will he stay?

determinedness to stick with Jefferson
That mistake has corrected itself.
If was a junior, we would have to deal with this shite next year.

The problem with this theory is that if you continue to make big unforced errors on a regular basis, you'll always be hurting your team regardless of if you then later fix those mistakes.

So we are pretending the devout loyalty to JJ was simply a 1 game mistake that never reared its ugly head before Monday?
