it wouldn't be really hard for Shep to have a better season next year than this year though. plus Mett. Shep is crazy.

Well, this situation is a little different. But obviously, this shows Shep has no faith in the QB play next year.

But he did have a better couple of games in October when a few coaching decisions were made.

Why does Shepard not just transfer? He doesn't seriously think he'll be drafted after catching 14 passes and being healthy all year?

good lord, our offense from last season is still killing us!

Must be deeper than a simple QB change if WRs dont think it will be worth sticking around.

The only difference between RS's situation and TT's situation is that RS will have a better pocket passer throwing him the ball if he stays his senior year.

TT had to go through a senior season with the same QBs.

Another WR plagued by The JJ Syndrome.

I would love to know the real reason that Miles was so devoted to that embodiment of mediocrity.

If this is how the guys we have feel, its probably how some We recruits feel too. Only way to fix it is sling the rock again with a capable QB next year. Talking about so wont cut it.

Same could easily be said by Lafell, Doucet, and every other receiver at LSU outside of Bowe (got better because of his lasik surgery not Miles and company) and Buster Davis who has flopped in the NFL due to injuries.

Since those 2 guys, LSU WRs have hurt their draft stock by coming back for their SR year.

They should all be blaming their podnuh JJ for their woes instead of friggin' tweeting BS.

Did they stand up and tell the coaches JJ's arse ought to be sitting? No. He's the reason they never got a decent ball thrown their way for 4 years.....JJ and Miles.

The NFL must have told Shep he would get drafted. He's going to tear up the combine. And get drafted higher. Good Luck Shep

Both of these guys are confusing their potential with their performance, not a stretch that they would make similar mistakes and have similar results in the end.

I can't think of two players and situations that are diffent than Tolliver and Shepard.

Tolliver came back to the same shitty QB, but he was still the same player. Good size, not so great speed, not so great hands. Better stats would not have changed any of that.

Shepard, however, needs to prove he is a legit wide receiver. He has not done that yet, but could next year with a real QB.

If he doesn't want to stay at LSU, he would be better off transferring, rather than going to the NFL.

JJ was poison. Miles loved it. End of story.

TT had his best game in the cotton bowl. If that didn't get him drafted then I don't know how his junior yr would have helped him.

Maybe if Terrence Toliver could have consistantly caught a pass he would have had more balls thrown his way. Basically he made a few plays his senior year but overall a big disappointment himself.

Like him leaving as a Junior would have helped him in the NFL..
