LSU has never had a 5 star proqb and Gunner is the future

We grow 1st round safeties on cypress limbs

Mo Claiborne was grown to 3rd pick

Collins looks like he's peaked physically. Great ball skills but LSU is stacked.

LSU will still dominate Monday

True but apples and oranges.

If you are trying to say LSU needed GK more than we needed LC I agree but not sure it deserved another thread. But you are right. I would take GK all day everyday over a safety.

The fact of the matter is LSU does not need ONE player this class to continue the high level of play.

A safety can make 1-2 game changing plays

A great QB literally changes every snap

we need gunner in a bad way, we are in good shape at the saftey position but losing the #1 player in the state sucks. losing him to a conference rival that you have to play every year is bad. it's not the coaches fault, they did everything they could.

The only bad part is Collins was addition plus subtraction.

10 star recruit.

Gunner will make him look like an even bigger arse three years from now after he makes him bite on a drew brees type pump fake.

I agree that Gunner was, and will be, significantly more important to this class that Collins was.

However........this statement

quote:

A safety can make 1-2 game changing plays

is kinda painful to see considering Eric Reid's interception is the primary play that allowed us to beat Bama on Nov 5th.

.....and if we have great QB play in that Nov. 5th game, the game isn't close and the Reid interception isn't nearly as significant.

Why are you comparing a QB to a S ? This is retarded. We wanted both guys, we got one of them. Just because Gunner will be a stud QB, doesnt mean the loss of Collins wont hurt a bit. End of story.
