That number is particularly ridiculous when you consider that they rarely play a big ticket team in the Orange Bowl.
Some of the teams the ACC has lost to in the Orange Bowl- 05 Penn State, 06 Louisville, 07 Kansas, 10 Stanford and 11 West Virginia.

It can happen just all depends on their average final ranking over a period of time. They are talking again in 2013. I think the big east might get their aq pulled unless they finish very very strong next year

Agree, its more like the AQ goes away entirely than ACC or any one conference losing their bid exclusively
