No way the 49ers lose to the Rams. St. Louis as lost 8 games in a row. We should play Brees maybe a half and then rest up for Atlanta.

Our loss to the Rams really fricked us but Roethlisberger's injury was way worst than what we had thought the week leading up to the Steelers vs 49ers on MNF. His play really didn't give the Steelers a chance to beat San Francisco that night.

I agree with you but we never know what could happen. The Rams did beat us but my only problem with the comparison is timing. The 49ers KNOW that they need to win this game to lock up the # 2 seed. Add in that this is a division game for both teams. I just don't see them taking St. Louis too lightly.

Well, Payton can follow the score in that game and make the decisions that he needs to. But you've got to start full speed ahead and make the 49ers play. If we say that we're going to start Chase Daniel, then the 9ers get to play their scrubs. Make them earn it.

naw, he needs to always be competiting. gotta keep brees focused because this is crunch time. we have to battle the panthers and then the falcons again. cant get ready for a team like the falcons by sitting and resting.
