each league has 14 teams so in order for each team to play a home and home with each team from the other league, you need 28 years.

Didn't realize it included Basketball too. SEC should do this with the ACC. The Vandy v. Duke game would be EPIC.

SEC vs Big 12 would be better

OU vs Bama
LSU vs Texas
Arky vs Okie light
WVU vs UK
TCU vs Auburn

This will never happen because Texas would never allow the SEC to get further entrenched in the Texas market. Also, a 10 team conference going up against a 14 team conference is a very odd configuration.

It would not happend, because its 10 to 14, but why would SEC teams playing in Texas "entrench" them in Texas? This logic is so stupid its mind boggling. Schorlship limits still exist so does distance.

Can we give the Big 12 Missouri back and boot Arkansas out?

Not feeling the whole 14 team conference nonsense.

Just pointing out that the top SEC basketball team already beat the top ACC basketball team this year.

Who said anything about playing everyone?

We could just do 2 or 3 teams.

ACC or Big 12. Would be good for everyone.

The second, third, and fourth best teams in the ACC (UNC/Duke, Syracuse, and Pitt) would hammer the #2, #3, and #4 teams in the SEC. Kentucky's the only team in the SEC that could consistently hang with those guys. Keep in mind that the ACC used to always beat the Big 10 in the ACC/Big 10 challenges and the ACC was actually down for a significant portion of that time. If the middle class of the ACC can even come close to what they were during the '90s, nobody will be able to touch them.

By consistently "hang with", you mean consistently beat. Because we do.

Kentucky is the best team in both the SEC and ACC and has been the last couple years.

Kentucky's the only elite basketball program in the SEC. Every other basketball program in the SEC is inconsistent as shite. Billy Donovan failed to make the NCAA tournament in back to back years after winning his two titles. Before those two titles, he failed to make it out of the second round for five straight years. The other programs in the SEC aren't any good at all.

I'm quite aware. Outside of Duke and UNC, the ACC is not that great in basketball.
