I think it is interesting that it's been more 30 years since Alabama was dominating the SEC, and some Bama fans still think that it is the natural order. Alabama had success before Bryant but wasn't dominant before and hasn't been since. They are simply part of the top tier. They have been out of the dominant mode for longer than they were in it. The "natural order" is much more like it has been over the period without Bryant, constant shifting and temporary prominence rotating through the top tier.

I am 62 and so remember your domination. However only 20 victories separate the 2 teams at present. Next year at this time it will only be 18. I will only be 81 when the record evens up.

How many more times do you gumps have to post this same whining BS? You all live in delusional fantasy, like your 12 NCs which half aren't, and that your probation was for "cheating" by members of almost all Bama sports and not just some little thing that happened. The ancient past has nothing to do with what LSU already did to ya'll this year and is going to do again Jan 9th! They have the advantage these past few years! Get some reality thinking!

YOU should know that you were caught CHEATING and that's what got you put on probation and scholarship reductions.
So are we to take into consideration probation for any wins LSU had over Alabama during probation, but Alabama is NOT to take into consideration the CHEATING for any wins over LSU during that time?
And as far as remembering the domination, I was at LSU in the 80's, and I don't remember any Bama domination during that time.
I got news for you, you don't have to be between 10-30 to not remember the domination, you'd have to be over FORTY to remember it. In the last 30 years LSU is 15-14-1 over Alabama (soon to be 16-14-1), hardly domination.
What's it feel like to be a fan of a program that has had to 'vacate' wins? I honestly wouldn't know.
