What food related gifts did you get for Christmas?

I got Alton Brown's Good Eats Cookbooks Vol. 1-3 and single cup brewing coffee pot, not Keurig because all I drink is Community dark roast. Also a big canister of Paul's Poultry Magic and Seafood Magic.
Exactly what I wanted(the Good Eats books) and needed(the coffee maker and seasonings).
What did Santa bring you folks?

I got a set of ceramic knives from a friend. Heard they work well.
We bought my dad a keurig with the single cup accessory that lets you use any type of coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but can you use community dark roast in that?

Good quality ones are freaking amazing. Would be one of the last things I would want to do without in my kitchen.

As much as I rag on Fitzmorris, my sister gave me a signed copy of "Lost Restaurants of New Orleans." A really cool book.

Glass, when Fitz dies, people will realize how much he has meant to the city. Hated by many, he has set the agenda for food gossip in town for decades and is one of the treasures of New Orleans.
Long live Tom Fitzmorris, his inflated ego and his gravy dripped voice.
