What exactly will be settled if we happen to be lucky enough to play USC in the BCSNCG next year? I hope you are not referring to the 2003 splice NC for gods sake. Not only wiuld that be Damn near 10 years later it would have absolutely positively nothing to do with what the AP elected to do in 2003?

I don't understand the complex that some LSU fans have towards the 2003 season. We won the NC plain and simple and USC didn't??

Listening to the Herd this morning, Colin said that if Barkley stays, USC would be the preseason #1. All I could do was smh

Mett don't need breakin in. Even the AP Coach of the Year stated he was the best passer of the three. He knows how to read defenses better than what we got.........I'm buying my plane ticket now for next year. Jackson to Miami for $99.

Is it too late for a Tiger-Network?

Seems like CBS was pretty much the LSU Network this season.

I almost committed suicide when ESPN referred to Barkley as a "young" freshman.

Dude is the same age as Jefferson, yet Jefferson got to college a year before him.

USC loses 2 games next year and won't be in the title game. They will win their bowl game in impressive fashion and herbstreit will say they could win the national title if in the game.

The media will forget that one of the two losses came at the hands came at the hands of a 14 point underdog who won't even be ranked.

Book it

Well, I can see an offseason media storm pegging USC #1 over LSU (because they have their QB back and "LSU is breaking in a new one" even though we will probably be stronger in almost every single area).

They'll also put Barkley as the clear early favorite for the Heisman.

The only good thing is that if they can survive that "brutal" Pac-12 schedule without 2 losses, we can finally play them and settle this shite.

Their WR core will probably be better than ares, but that could just be appearances since they have a QB that can actually throw the ball playing with them.

very poor attempt

eta: or I should say a very good attempt, about the best a bama fan could pull off, but all it shows is that Eric absolutely intercepted that ball.

thanks try again

hoped for nothing more than this. I can't wait for us to steamroll the cup cake sheet we have next year and destroy these a-holes for our second straight.

For someone who lives almost 2,000 miles away from Los Angeles and pulls for a team in a different conference, you have some misplaced juvenile anger issues.

I bet there is almost nothing factual you know about USC.

They'll lose at least two games next season.

It's entirely possible USC will lose two games next season.

It's just that anything more than two losses next season would now be a bitter disappointment.

12-1 with a BCS Bowl invite just went from being a pipe dream to what is expected.

It is of course way too early to entertain thoughts of a BCS National Championship Game appearance, and even more ludicrous to speculate about actually winning it. Based on who's coming back, who's coming in, and how little SC actually loses before next September's campaign, people in the know are talking about it anyway.

It is a great time to be a fan of the USC Trojans.
