Will this stuff ever be in bottles around BR?

One can hope. I didn't get a chance to try it.

I doubt it... If I'm not mistaken, it was an Abita Select, so it will probably won't be bottled. I've always found the Abita Selects to be pretty good...much better then their standard line up. I wish the started bottling some of them and keeping them year around

Probably not. They stay true to their business model of only making a little bit of their good beer seasonally, but making a ton of their boring, shitty beer year-round

im still trying to figure out if the batch of christmas ale went out in 2 different packages or if stores are selling old christmas ale right next to the new christmas ale. anyone know what the deal with that is?

quote:Agree - it was barely drinkable. Andygator and restoration ale are the only 2 I'll drink anymore, and a place usually has to have a pretty poor selection before I'll even go to those.

All their beer is being put in new packages and the bottles have new label designs. They can still be seen next to the old boxes and bottles.
New label, same mediocre beer inside.

Great mission statement, piss poor execution. I'll always fall back to them because of the home state aspect, but they have proven they can produce beers on par with the top tier of the Micro-Macro Breweries (if that makes sense). I wish they would do it consistently.

That's really the problem with Abita in the end. Other breweries seem to get it right more consistently than Abita does.
