Harbaugh Runs the Same System as Les

Pound the ball.. play solid defense, force turnovers. Rely on your QB to move the chains when u need to.
you wouldn't think it would be that simple in the NFL... but more often than not it is. they are definitely doing things a little bit different than the other top NFL teams

You mean Les is trying to mimic what guys like Harbaugh and Saban have been doing for years.

Les to the Dolphins. I'm sold.

Alex Smith is a much better NFL QB than Jordan Jefferson is a college QB. A team like LSU would not be successful in the NFL with a Jefferson-type QB.

Les is older than Harbaugh... I'm pretty sure he's mimicking the old Michigan teams more than either of the other 2

you pretty much just described the Broncos

Les's teams haven't used this style until 3 years ago.

his teams at LSU had pretty a pretty elite QB in Jamarcus. led the nation in efficiency.
and that 2007 team was definitely built to pound the rock

The Broncos have a -51 point differential which is the tenth worst point differential in the NFL. They've been lucky as hell to pull a bunch out of games out of their arse that they had no business winning. The Broncos will come crashing down to earth next year unless Tebow shows dramatic improvement as a passing QB.

Yes, Les is copying what Harbaugh has been doing for years. fricking tard.

they lost by 35 to detroit and 26 to Green Bay (with Orton starting)
the rest of the season they have a positive point differential

why not? That is pretty much the fundamental thought of what any coach would like to do.

Harbaugh and Les are both Michigan men. Both of their systems mimic what Schembiechler(sp?) had goin when he had those dominant Michigan teams.

this thread is fricking retarded. that's the 'system' for coaches in every league, everywhere.

You're right. The patriots, saints, and packers all pound the rock and play good D to win their games
Posted on 12/20/11 at 5:38 am to sgallo3
Big difference is LSU will win it all and San Francisco won't win a playoff game. No way in hell they beat the Saints in round 2.

Just like the Seahawks won't beat the Saints and Marshawn won't run their entire defense slap over either
It's the nfl bubba, anything can happen

Ok...if Sproles, Thomas, Ivory, and Ingram all get injured in the next 2 weeks, the 49ers will beat the Saints.

I wish Les used TEs like Harbaugh does. even his protege at WKU was making our D look bad at times with his TE. get it in gear, Leslie.
