I care. Although I am looking forward to the LA Tech vs. LSU fans threads that will pop up. Should provide good entertainment much like the ULL vs. LSU ones did.

I'll root for the Bulldogs because I like to see all of the Louisiana teams do well. As an LSU fan its kinda pointless to hate on the other state schools because they aren't anywhere close to the Tigers league.
Academically on the other hand, the state is long overdue in contracting some of its public universities. Per capita Louisiana has the most 4 year institutions in the country yet one of the lower percentages of people with bachelors or better. Resources are spread WAY too thin.
