No, and for too many obvious reasons.

Seriously, paying a coach $4-5 million a year is enough adulation, respect, honor, gratitude etc., in my opinion.

Statues of, or naming property after, one human being is, imo, just wrong and dismisses contributions of so many other people key to a coach's success. Also, statues are for forefathers, leaders that changed the course of a country (for the better), saints (if you believe in them), etc.

Not for coaches of football. C'mon.

Please stop with the Mile fields crap, it is TS and our tradition goes beyond one coach, no matter how successful. Please do not do a disservice to Miles by turning him into Bear Bryant. The last thing I want to see in TS in 20 years is everyone wearing white hats...

I could see the field being renamed. Though I'm curious as how the attitude will be in 30 to 40 years when the current 20-somethings are then 50+ and the ones in power with the money.

If someone donates 500 million to 1 billion to TAF, you bet they'd name the field after them.

I think we should call it Pat Henry Field.

I like the fact that it is not named after a man. Tiger Stadium is so much bigger than one person.

LSU has one of the strongest team brands in all of college football.
LSU Tigers at Tiger Stadium says it all. I can't stand all these other names and mascots that make no sense for a school. Even our helmets say LSU with a Tiger on it. You know who we are when you see us.

I don't think he is as responsible for it as some do because the fans are the reason for LSU being able to hire and keep Miles.

What a terribly naive statement!

There's an almost endless number of variables that go into building a program to this level of success. But don't kid yourself, Coach Miles is ultimately responsibly for most if not all of them!

Yes. They will NEVER rename that stadium.

Now, I can certainly see "Miles Field at Tiger Stadium" as a possibility if things pan out for our damned strong football team and our damned strong football coach over the next few years and he retires here.
