I dont know what it is with Ware the last few games, but he isn't busting a whole lot of runs like he was earlier in the season. Seems like he's getting tripped up after 2 yards almost every time

O-line, not Ware.

Ware will get that burst back with this time off. See the A&M game last year. He will be back in beast mode.

Didnt he get a 3 week break before the Bama game? Just sayin. I hope you're right. I loved him in the A&M game last year.

He has had some minor injuries lately, like bad thigh bruises and stuff like that. After this month of rest he should be back to full health and running hard like his old self.

Maybe you should replay the LSU Ark game. Ware hit the Ark DT so hard, the DT collapsed to the ground and Ware goes from an obvious tackle at the line to walking into the endzone. I don't recall ever seeing a DT going down like that before.

Seems about right to me. Who is faster than those two in the RB squad?

Someone in this thread said that Hilliard added weight going into this year? Was this on purpose. He looked puffy to me in Aug/Sept and has definitely lost some baby fat during the season. Would be a nightmare if he keeps that up.

Blue has busted off 48 yd TD, 45 yd TD, and a 60 yarder against Ole Miss. He is faster than Ford. Ford is a beast also though. It's hundredths of a second either way. At the combine, I see Blue running a 4.47, and Ford running a 4.51.

Magee: 4.58

Hilliard: 4.68, Ware: 4.74

I don't know what it is but I totally agree Ware is not the same back he was earlier. I chalked it up to his injury but the last game it was totally his vision. Running hard but missing the holes. He even ducked and lowered for contact once when nobody hit him and had to do it a few feet later on. He is not running like he did before his suspension.

I think Ware's job is to get 3-4 ypc and injure people in the process. He hits the LB's because it converts them into vags by the second half. Yards are cool and all, but running over DTs and LBs is much more awesomer.

I mentioned way back in Oct that Ford's field vision >>>> Ware's. And Hilliard's seems to be at least as good as Ford's.

Both Ford and Hilliard, once they get to the 2nd level, have a much greater chance of making it into a huge play than does Ware.

This.

He is the hammer that loosens em up. The rest of the backs benefit from it. He routinely drills LB's and DT's harder than they hit him. After all that Ware in their face they can't handle Hilliard's beast mode or Ford/Blue's speed. It's a pretty obvious yet effective formula.

I think they're pretty close all around. Hilliard seems to have better vision and has better patience than Ware IMO. Either way I'm damn glad both are Tigers!!!

I think Blue has the best vision of them all but lacks something that keeps him so far back.

not even close. Hillard will become a full back before it is over.
