I meant skeptical as to why in the world he would take it. Nothing about my post was ncaa related.

If he takes a job like that, then I would assume he's concerned about his reputation moving forward so he's taking a new job now, or possibly just that ready to be a HC that he'll take anything, or something else. I wouldnt expect it to be bc of ncaa.

I would think a coach of Gus' caliber/reputation interviews at places like UNC, Kansas, etc. He doesn't "interview" at Arky St. He simply tells them his plan & the terms under which he would take the job. I doubt he goes there, but if he does it wont be bc he nailed the "interview". It wld be bc they met his terms.

Just like Chris Petersen wouldn't have to "interview" for A&M. Guys like Petersen get pitched jobs like A&M. Gus gets pitched this job, not interviewed for it.

Please stop. Emoticons of laughing don't diminish the fact of how stupid you're coming off.

when auburn makes a step up in dc from roof what's your theory then. The ncaa wants auburn to get better?

i'm not the one having to make personal attacks calling people stupid and retarded for having a thought/theory why AU assistants would be considering less paying jobs. therefore, i feel secure where i stand in the realm of public opinion as to being either of the names you called me. You may want to think about how YOU may be coming accross. A little self evaluation never hurts.

You are an Au fan, you aren't going to have a "rational" discussion about something adverse to AU.

no the n.c.a.a. wants any coach who had anything to do with cam or his dad out. It gave a black eye to Au and the N.C.A.A. The AU administration and Chiz may not have known about the demands cam 's daddy admitted to. However, assistant coaches may have. it could be a gentlemen's agreement between the two. It's a theory/thought. You are defensive because you don't want to believe that it could have happened.

look, i already said if trooper and gus stay, then i'm wrong. We are all wrong about something every day of our life. If i'm retarded and stupid for being wrong, then the mirror doesn't look so good, does it? what's the big deal with being wrong?

Because clearly you're football-retarded

Go ahead and say he doesn't have Cam whatever...I'd like to see any offense have a halfway decent season after losing:

4 starting OL
Heisman winning QB
2 leading receivers

To be replaced with:

2 true freshmen, a 2 star who only got offered because he went to Auburn HS and we needed another OL in that class and a guy coming off season ending knee surgery...his mobility has sucked

Two abortions of QBs

Emory Blake has been decent but hurt all year...we had no one else step up at WR

Pull your head out of your arse.

I never posted "he doesn't have" this or that crap before. I said he was good.

I'm just not one worried about him (or any other coach) to start numerous threads about him leaving like you see people do here all the time.

Sorry about the thin skin there...it's not a personal attack on you. It's a statement that your theory is beyond stupid. Now so do i think overall you're stupid? It's likley based off what you've provided. However i will reserve judgement as i have not seen your other post, and maybe today just isn't your day.

I'm plenty rational. I think gus made a mistake about not taking the maryland offer last year. That he's regretting that decision and realized he wants to be a head coach.

For the ncaa stuff i point you to the letter clearing auburn. For the ncaa stuff you point to a half thought up theory. Exlpain which is more rational to me.

O.J. and Casey Anthony were not guilty because i can point to the verdict of a rational jury. Anyone who thinks differently is simply irrational. my point? not everything is black and white.

There are coaches who "remove their name from consideration", coaches "resign", and coaches who "pursue other opportunities" everyday. Are those the real and true reasons? sometimes they are, sometimes they are being forced out, sometimes they are actually fired.

it really makes no difference to me. I like AU, I want Au to be strong because it helps lsu with bama. I don't want anything bad to happen to them. sorry you took my theory/thought to heart.

Seems to be becoming a more common thing. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple handful of OCs making over 7 figures within 5 years.

malzahn really fricked up not leaving after last year. Career-killing bad decision IMO.

His wife did him no favors this year. I'm convinced that video put him out of the running for at least one or two jobs.

Without a doubt. Within a short span of time, my guess is that she managed to step on a lot of toes and piss off a lot of people, at Auburn and elsewhere. To most people, she came across as merely repulsive and oblivious. That lady is a loose cannon. Why on earth would Cross Church make that video available to the general public, unless she did something to piss them off as well. To me, it looked as if Ronnie Floyd just handed her the rope...

At one point, Ronnie Floyd could only say "good Lord".

Is it safe to assume that you watched the unedited version of the video? You're a dumbass

No, I did not, but either you did, in order to make that assumption, or you're just running your diarrhea mouth, just like her.

Unless the rest of the video involved hypnotizing the audience into forgetting what she did say then I don't really think it matters. If it were an argument against one comment she made that would be another thing but anyone who watched even the shortened version would think she's at the minimum a little loopy.

She makes the whole noose.

Back on topic, I will be very surprised if Gus is hired at Arkansas State.
