This is a disgrace. How can they expect him to do his job if they won't let him do his job?

Stern saved Demps' job. And he might have saved basketball in New Orleans.

Taking on 65 million of shitty contracts could have scared away the few people willing to buy the hornets to keep in the city.

Yeah, I'm sure forcing him to let CP3 walk and causing the franchise to move to another city will look really good on Demps' resume.

You seriously have no idea how fricked we are if this deal doesn't go through, do you?

The Hornets should resubmit the trade while having the Lakers add a 2nd round pick....just keep making the league veto it.

He has proven how much of a fricking idiot he is if you read his posts throughout the evening.

And you have provided little more than insults as some childish retort to him. What's the difference?

It'd be a hell of a lot easier than trying to salvage the franchise when CP3 walks because the NBA didn't want the trade to happen. That, I can tell you with certainty.

No you can't. Don't try to act like you are omniscient. No one knows how it will turn out either way. I really don't like the trade, but only a fool argues in absolutes.

Is he not? He's gotta be 6'11 if he isn't 7', and he has the ball handling skills of a SF. Pretty rare player in the NBA.

Yeah, because it's impossible to build a team with 30 million in cap space and a lotto pick in the best draft in 8 years
