Online Sales: Advantage LSU

Local Sales: Advantage LSU

Corporate Tix: Advantage LSU

But I thought Bama fans had deeper pockets?

Can someone extrapolate out the math. I have a headache

Of course this assume that all the buyers in louisiana are LSU fans.

This does not surprise me at all.

Who's getting all of the hotels though?

per every Bama fan's post I was under the impression the dome would be an even 50-50. That there couldn't be any home advantage for LSU.

If what they said about that isn't true, then are all the other things they have said about how they are "at least" the second best team also not true?

I'm going to have to re-evaluate my life now!

...sarcasm for those who don't get it

Even at 60 40 LSU fans how is this not a neutral site

It's obviously not going to be 80-20 or even 70-30 most likely. However, the ignorant Bama fans that think they can take over the SuperDome are just wrong

Dunno, mostly LSU fans but by far the Motels will be occupied by the Gumps

even if it was 50-50 so what? how would that affect us? when 100k gumps did not affect us? however it would affect Bama. because we did not have 40k fans at BDS last i checked.

Also 60-40 is more of an advantage than most people think. That's 15,000 more LSU fans than Bama fans

Makes sense. Bama fans have to buy hotel stay (usually a four day minimum) and a ticket. LSU fans just have to buy a ticket (because they know someone in NO or they'll just drive home after the game).

So 44% are from neither alabama nor Louisiana?

This tells me neither team has a discernible advantage.

I know about 20 Bama fans. Only 1 is coming and still doesn't have tickets. They all keep saying how expensive it is and can't afford it.

Let the gumps hypothetically take over the superdome, cause LSU thrives in adverse enviroments

Would you want to be around if you were from Sabamaland after we win the NCG?

well, when you consider a lot of tickets never hit the open market because they are going to (a) Sugar Bowl folks, (b) New Orleans locals, (c) LA state legislators, etc., then I think at least 60-40 is to be expected. Probably a little more than that.

Exactly! I think 50/50 is a distinct possibility, but as others have said here, what will it matter? LSU fans will still be louder unless the game is lopsided in favor of Bama and besides that our team doesn't care. They will play lights out no matter where they are or who is watching.
