I don't get how LSU has the right to any of that shite right there. Unless they're going to try and say the honey badger is a likeness of TM7 and LSU. I wonder what the actual law reads.

Apparel or paraphernalia including the phrase "Honey Badger" accompanied by the number 7 or the individual's name or any other variation thereof (e.g., TM7, TM, HB7, etc.) is prohibited

It is the "accompanied by" part that makes it LSU and Tyrann related specifically.

Exactly. A cursory search on the internet reveals a lot of Honeybadger don't care products which are not related to TM7, such as this

I think it is the #7 and/or the letters TM on them that is the problem

this is bullshite. TM7? does LSU have the rights to TM7? they make millions off these kids but small businesses can't make a dime...

Saw jars of honey at the Red Stick Farmer's Market last week with LSU colors and the name "Honey Badger".

I can see how they're trying to shut down the shirts that have "TM7" on them, but I think they're going after ALL purple & gold honey badger shirts, even the ones that don't have any reference to "7" or "TM7"

It's about NCAA compliance, not royalties

Dude, LSu HAS to do this or Tyrann can lose his eligibility. Want THAT?

You can print all of the "Honey Badger" products and apparel that you care to produce.

However, you CANNOT print "Honey Badger" products that include LSU or LSU player items:

1. the number 7
2. TM7 (or any other likeness)
3. the name of an LSU player
4. the image of an LSU player
5. LSU
