Ware. In the start of the year he ran like a man on a mission. After the one game suspension he looks like he's scared to pound the rock.

I thought the same thing. Definitely doesn't look like he did at the beginning of the season.

More like the opposite. He seems to seek out contact to a fault.

All the violent hitting caught up with him and he wore out. He did his job though. I expect him to get less carries in the NC game and yet be effective.

He's just tired and gets the responsibility of running into a fresh D who is stacking the box at the beginning of every game. He did have a nice TD against Arky though. The layoff will probably help him out a little.

I don't think anything is wrong with Ware that wouldn't be solved by changing tendencies a bit. When Ware is in the game, we run between the tackles...exclusively. I can't remember a single play that he ran outside of the tackle box this season.

I would love to see us run him wide on occasion and run some counter plays with him so that the defense won't simply load the box when is in the the backfield.

I think the season just got to his legs. He still runs as hard as ever (he just slams into the defenders), but has worn down. He is a big part of our brutal attack.

A month off is exactly what he needs. With his running style, a month off will do his legs and shoulders wonders.

I think he's running just as hard. However, his number of carries has been reduced with the emergence of KH. Also, the Tigers run most of their passing plays when Ware is in the game due to him being the best rb receiver.

I think at the beginning of the season, we saw Ware carry the rock a lot in the 4th quarter as well as in the first quarter. He benefited from the wearing down of the defense mainly because he and Ford were wearing them down. But it seems that a lot of the carries as the season has gone on are going to Hilliard and Blue late. So Ware is getting the tough carries earlier when the defense is fresh and not as much when the defense is worn down.
