Hornets Go All-In

What if Demps thinks we are really close to getting over the hump and winning it all? What if David West does not get hurt? I would go to war with the Hornets last year every day against the champion Mavericks. It is a huge risk!!! One that can crumble the team and send it packing if it backfires. But I am on the border of saying we are so close to getting over the hump. Lets give Demps another trade deadline to make moves around CP3 and well, I'm All-In.

With the team we had at the beginning of the season we could have beat them, we still matched up horribly with the Lakers though.

It's time to go in a different direction. Im not a big fan of giving Paul a 5yr/ 100 million dollar contract. That along with West being a free agent, and Oaks and Ariza's contracts,we just arent in a good situation right now.

You sound like one of those Hornets Report people.
Go away

Ok Son.
I can see us going the Warrior way or Clipper way and still be in good shape. We have a lot of options, one of the options is to risk it all or nothing this season. I just think Demps has enough money right now to add pieces to CP3 that can make us win NOW. Not in two to three years with the other trades. By winning now I mean the NBA Championship. My opinion is CP3 was clearly the best PG in the playoffs last year. Huge risk could be a huge reward or an ultimate failure. Just an opinion of how close I think we really are. In Demps I Trust

Delusions of grandeur, you have.
We are not close, my friend. We have 5 roster players right now, and only one of them has ever sniffed all-star.
You find some magical way to sign CP, Carl, DW, gasol, and Brandon Roy AND stay under the cap, then by all means share it with the class. That's about the only way well make it past the first round this year.
Sorry to burst your hornetard bubble.

I know he is 90 percent gone. I just want to risk it all now with CP3 one more year rather than being average for a while. Whatver Demps decides I am behind it. Good thing for some of you I am not a GM. I would be All-In with CP3, no way he Lebrons us if we have a good/great year.

Considering that we had a first year head coach, a revamped roster, and no DW in the playoffs, I'd say we had a good year last year, and he's clearly not interested in staying. Blow the whole thing up.

Damn, only imagine if he did not get injured. Landry would have been great off the bench in the playoffs. I know the Mavericks are happy they did not have to match up with a healthy Hornets team. Before the injury we were scary in the west. Any team that is scary in the West can win it all. After the injury we were not. Just letting people know there is still an option available besides trading CP3.

The Mavs were way better than a healthy Hornets team last year.

So you are basically saying you want to go through a year of misery with a whiny bitch that will half arse it the whole year?

That is retarded.
So we go for it all, he leaves as EVERYONE knows he will and we are left with a ton of shitty contracts and a perpetually 30-35 win team.
Awesome!
