Nothing wrong with taking the victory snap. The only thing he did wrong was give the referee the ball afterword. I would have kept it for myself.

Could not agree more. It is not about who the best QB is, but how Les has mis-treated Lee. This team would not be in the position to win a national championship without the play Lee. No one can deny that fact and that he was 8-0 has a starter. He deserves playing time, when JJ is not getting it done. Les bitched slappled him in front of the entire Tiger Nation. Les should have brought him up to hosit the trophy, but then agian Les is has no class. Hard to enjoy a win when a member of the team is being treated so poorly by the coach.

Plus 1000...Les is an arse...treating JL like he does...JJ stunk up the field the first half....worst I have ever seen...WTF

Never know what happens behind closed doors, things get said, tempers may fly etc.

could be some sort of "punishment"..

or could be the coaches know the players a lot better than the fans, they work with them on a routine daily basis. Lee could have came in, but this game was good for JJ going into the NC. Keep calm, put in work and determination with will,...on top of talent...good things happen.

If I were Lee I would've declined to take the last snap.

There's no way we would've been 5-0 even if Jefferson we're able to play. After JJ's first half performance, Lee should've played. JJ is responsible for LSU being the only team to not have one first down in the first half of the SECCG.

25 total yards from the QB today and not a sniff of pulling him. 1 pick from Lee and he was benched for a quarter. Then they call a 40 yard pass his first snap back and he's picked again. Pulled and never sees another significant snap at LSU after leading LSU to 9-0 as a starter. That's called a double standard and that's why people are acting this way.

Personally, my avatar says it all. I don't give a shite who starts. Just Win Baby.

LES is interested in doing what is best for LSU
LSU is an institution. A juridical entity. Lee is a person.

He was there when Miles needed him. When Miles didn't need him anymore, he discarded him.

Maybe there's something's we don't know-but based on what we do know, this is wrong.

Perhaps people don't have the full story, don't judge when you don't have the facts...

Lsu starting 5-0 was expected. We got fla/tenn's backup qbs, that was fortunate.

Our three tests were bama, ark, and Uga. Three of the four top teams. In sec.

I think that it sucks that j lee has to go through this. He is a great person to step on the field in that situation. I think that I would have told miles to kiss my arse. J lee is this years MVP we would not be here with out him

If that was true CBS would not have shown Lee after ever atrocious JJ pass today.

I bet you a million dollar nobody writes an article nationally about Jarrett Lee's hurt feelings and not playing until the last snap?

It really amazes me that some people on here or either JJ or JL. Both have done their part, but in the case of JL I think it is a travesty of justice to think this KID has given his all to LSU and now gets treated like this. Coach Miles is a great coach but he must certaintly have some feelings for a young man who got him to this point. I can't believe he will not let him even go in for a series now and then. Any one of you who post on this board know that I'm being truthful when I say,"If JL had started tonite and gone 5 three and outs with a total of 12 yards,JJ would have been in the game." Is he ever going to get to play again ? This is bullshite ! What did JJ do tonite? Frick,he handed the ball off to the backs and the O line and the D did the rest.JJ,he is our savior.

I believe it was a classless act against JL by Les Miles. What a terrible feeling JL must have had to end his career at LSU this way.Miles must have forgotten that we were 9-0 with him at QB.

Lee f'd up somewhere and none of us know what he did. that's all there is to it. What surprises me, is that no players are around him. He's basically all by himself on te sideline.

Whatever happened between Les and Lee. I have no idea. But, Lee helped us get us to where we are. To completely disregard what he has done sucks. I don't know what is going on, but Les better have a really good excuse or I have lost a lot of respect for the man.
