He's not a 5* so he obviously sucks.

5's are reserved for Bama's LB's.

I am not sure what the kid said, but it is ridiculous to think that he could not have changed his mind. Perhaps he was solid to Nebraska, then talked to LSU and decided to change. It is certainly plausible.

Nebraska knew from the beginning they were his 3rd choice behind LSU and Bama. When they didnt offer he committed. Has always maintained that staying home was his first choice.

Interesting interview with Huskers Illustrated (audio only) after Debo committed to them in August. He told them Nebraska was his third choice

He sounded almost depressed he was going to have to go to Nebraska.

Stars do not matter!!!! Russel Powe was a 4 star DT that did not amount to jack while in the SEC, he chose Ole Miss over us. Also, Ryan Perriloux was five star QB, that did not amount to anything. Mathieu is a three star that will soon be racking up Pro Bowl invites like we get credit card invites! It was what they do with their God given talent and how they take learning from the Coaches. Chavis said that Debo reminded him alot of OJ Mayo! I can only hope! Dude, was a BEAST! at UT and I hope we just got one right here today! Welcome Debo to TigerNation Baby!

I dont think he would be considered a diamond in the rough. His play on the field says he is the real deal. If LSU offered then he is the real deal.

TYRANN MATHIEU WAS A 4* PEOPLE, my goodness I get tired of the 3-star crap.........he got a bump to 4* before his SR year in HS

Just like Mo Claiborne wasn't a 2*, he was a 3* (bump after senior film evaluation)

Welcome Mr. Jones, you tackled me last year in HS. I'm honored

These things annoy me as well.

These athletes are behaving like 18 year olds deciding to go to college for the first time!

Why can't they just pick one college and never waver despite favorite school factor, proximity to family and a better kick start for their future?

I for one can say with certainty that they will never be Good Soldiers for Zorg with this attitude.

Great news!

Have heard and read nothing but positive things about Jones. Glad to have this solid young man coming in with this class.

Looks like he will be able to add some weight to his frame:
