I agree with what most have said on being great athlete, big arm, QB frame. He's got the physical skills to make it.
I question his ability to read NFL DEFENSES, Think it will be too fast, complicated for him. Hell, not many can. But hope he continues to improve.

also, I believe TJ Yates becomes an NFL starting QB this weekend as well.

Hope he does well in the classroom, NFL draft not happening...

are you kidding me?...seriously...jesus christ you people are delusional...
yes the guy is big and can run a little, but damn you people think that LSU has won because of him...that is the most retarded thing...LSU has won because of their great defense, special teams, a big arse o line and a ton of great RB's...

He'll pass a lot of them at the combine including Russell Wilson and Kinne...
Unlikely that he'll be invited to Indy if that's what you're talking about. It's not just set up that anybody that's eligible for the draft can go up there to work out...there are so many slots available and you have to be invited.
Withe that said, there have been many players not be invited that have gone on to do well as late picks or FA signings.

Also his throwing motion has been shortened a good deal.
Not. JJ has a bigger windup than Tebow.
Not convinced he has a better arm than Flynn either.
But I feel confident he will play like an All pro the next two games.
Got to.

This is just flat out false.

The biggest issues with JJ at the next level will be his accuracy and slow release.
Huge issues for him, no doubt.

He will go to the NFL combine, He will get drafted and he won't be playing any other postion in the NFL. If he makes it in the NFL it will be at QB. He is not going to be converted to a TE or WR or SS or Kicker or anything else.

You do know it's not that easy to get a combine invite? Many good players get passed over...that's why so many schools hold pro days for their outgoing players eligible for the draft.
I just don't see how you can be so sure he will get drafted...there are players much better than him that get passed over in every draft.
Love the optimism though, even though you may be viewing this question through purple and gold glasses...

Did any of you watch the game...today? JJ was so off target and slow making decisions. Who would want him. I don't.

Ryan Mallet, an actual QB talent, was already drafted by the Patriots last year.

Bump. Getting a lot of love at the combine.

JJ certainly doesn't lack self confidence. In his mind he is responsible for only positive results and plays well every game. We will see how that works out in the NFL.

a proven winner
How many wins can we really attribute to his play at the QB position? 2, maybe 3? (I'm certain TeamSwag has spreadsheets to prove otherwise)

an NFL caliber arm
Maybe we can ask the turf in any stadium where he kicked up divots at the feet of his intended receivers

He does have 4 years of experience as one of these

Keep on pumping Dad. No comparison to Tebow today?
You would be giving your son better advice to consider a different position-I think Marcus Randall collected an NFL paycheck for a couple of years by moving to a more natural position. He would stand a better chance at making a roster at TE than continuing to insist that he is a QB.
