That is a crock. There have been proposals to let people play all the way up. Those keep getting trashed. This one is a compromise. The NOLA Catholic schools DO want to play together and HAVE supported ALL play-up proposals in the past.

I feel that it might pass this time, because the alternative is that Catholic schools are looking at playing each other for all their non district games. That would really cut into the budgets for a lot of the NOLA area public schools.
