There needs to be an option on this site showing the poster's sex, I've been reading Wink's posts as if it were an actual person.

And why doesn't B.R. have a loop?
BR has shortcuts, you just have to know where they're located.
and how the F does a thread about Vets end upu about BR?

It is worth a try Zach. The place has been in business since 1934, they have to be doing something(actually more than one)right. It is an old school no frills type of place. I really dig it.
I think you're just down for the "cheater booths" they have there.

You have to be really smart to catch on to it, though.
Meh, Powerman's okay. I think his posts can be a little strident and defensive, but, on the other hand, I was annoyed and called TulaneLSU a phony. So there you go.
BTW, as a "NOLA snob" who, incidentally, was actually born in a small central Central Louisiana town, I would like to say that I have nothing against Jefferson Parish as long as I don't have to live there or drive on Vets everyday. In fact, there are some Latin and Asian restaurants I want to try in the Metry/Kennabrah area.

VOR, I feel the exact opposite of you about the NOLA/ EJ preference. I was driving around uptown yesterday for work. I'm going this morning to get my truck's suspension checked for damage.

Some of the side streets are an adventure. The main ones aren't bad, though.

I was born in New Orleans and live in New Orleans
It's just an observation that some of the locals are very defensive about the culture here and I find it hilarious.
If some guy on a message board says that Shogun sushi is better than any sushi joints in New Orleans and you are seriously offended by the comment then clearly there is something wrong with you.

The Kenner brah area has a few good ethnic food spots. The Indian restaurant here is terrible though.
As in my cracker arse can crank out better Indian food than they can.

The best Indian food I've had in New Orleans was at a party at an Australian woman's house. She had the Indian cuisine down. Apparently, it's a big part of the food scene down under.
Okay . . . top two Asian and top two Latin restaurants on the East Bank?
