It's called observation. Again, he might be fine with everything, but that's the vibe I get from him.

And to think of what he's been through all these years, and then to have the amazing season he was having, and after 1 bad outing, he's back to patrolling the sideline. It's not a leap to think his confidence isn't at an all time high.

Again, he could be totally content with the situation, ready to contribute what he can.

I'm a fan of both, BTW.

You are probably the only one, and it's called an assumption. Your observation seems limited to yourself.

Looks to me both have handled their respective situations very well.

Describing how someone looks in your opinion is not an assumption.

Hope you're right.

Out of curiosity, when was the last time JL threw a pass in a game? I want to say WKU, but I don't really remember much about the end of Ole Miss and Arky. He's become the garbage man lately, just in to hand it off.

If we need him to throw in the SECCG or the BCSNCG, might be interesting.

Believe he threw one pass against Ole Piss.

And a GJ said, "get out of town with that BS!"

Kinda interesting how one SR QB gets boos after serving a 4 game suspension cause a DA over charged a bar room fight everyone walked away from and another SR QB has everyone worried bout his "feelings" cause he might be depressed IF he is in academic trouble or how he was treated cause he didn't start the 10th game of the season.

Go figure........

This does not surprise me. For 4 years now I've been saying neither of our QBs seem very smart. Yet everyone wanted to just assume Lee was "smart", "heady", "game manager", etc. Wonder why that is.

We all know why. Has a white QB ever in history been accused of "not being able to read a defense?" There are built in biases in the way people discuss QBs. But I digress.

Just goes to show we as fans really don't know anything about these kids. The assumptions some make are hilarious though.

I am almost made this point earlier. All these people shocked if this is true--why? We dont' know Lee. All we know is that he stuck around after a horrible--and completely unfair--trashing by our fans during and after '08. That should be commended, but all this "high character," "classy" praise he gets is based on absolutely nothing. Lee could be the greatest man to walk the planet since Jesus Christ himself. Or he may be a raging a-hole. We don't friggin know.

How many meaningful passes have Murray and McCarron's backups thrown recently? You prepare to play in practice, not garbage time against shite teams.

It is kind of upsetting that our fanbase shows absolutely no sympathy to a guy who had his name and reputation dragged through the mud nationally and lost his starting job over something he didnt do. Yet Miles is supposed to tread eggshells because one guy might get upset over playing time.

The JJ situation was overblown, no doubt. We don't know what he did or didn't do. I'm not saying I agree with the fanbase reaction towards him. But the reaction stems from more than what did or didn't happen at Shady's.

It is irrevelant at this point- 2 games to win. And everyone, fan of JJ or not, can celebrate the accomplishments and move on.

I'm not asigning any certain motive to anyone cause I don't personally know every poster, but anyone not seeing a real difference in the treatment by some of one opposed to the other has their head stuck in the sand. imo

This was said relentlessly about Terry Bradshaw.

Oh, absolutely. People had already made up their minds they didn't like JJ. The fight was just a convenient reason to justify it.

I'm not concerned with all this...It is what it is. Either Lee makes the grades or he doesn't.

Again, we're fortunate this year to have two starting QBs. It's helped us on multiple occasions already, and it appears it will help us again if Lee becomes ineligible.

I'd prefer to have all hands on deck, but we'll make it work if not. I'm just thankful we had two starting QBs this year, because there's no way we'd be undefeated IMO if we didn't.

You are seeing that with the people that absolutely can't give him any credit for his improvement this season. They refuse to see it.

And that's the most sad statement of all.

Probably the same people telling JL not to let the door hit him in the arse after the 08 season.
