So Losing in double OT... ESPN's Take

on the road to an unranked team by a questionable field goal call (Or at least incredibly close either way) and after a terrible tragedy is worse
than losing at home in OT when you had the ball first and promptly moved backwards? This after knowing that this was after all "The Game of the Century" and you had 2 weeks as the #2 team to get ready for the #1 team coming to your own house.
Sorry I'll never buy that. How could I. If Trent can have his heisman moment against almost an unranked team on a team that did not win its division than OSU can certainly have a let down game after a tragedy.
Yes this again ... If OSU beats OU even by a point after 4 OT's and they dont get in .........ITS Rigged
Is ESPN starting the Crimson Tide Network like the one Texas has?

Actually a decent talking point.

And then there is this.
If that ever happens .......it sure would explain alot about why ESPN is beating the bama drum so much
For those of you arguing its a simple as bama being the second best team....just remember OSU has played and beaten more top 25 teams. Point is we all thought bama would kill Utah in the Sugar in 08 and well.....
And then there is this.
quote:
Will any other university attempt to create its own network? Forget about Big Ten and Pac-10 schools. Their local multi-media rights -- which is essentially what Texas sold to ESPN for this network -- are owned by the conferences. SEC members, though, continue to hold on to their local multi-media rights plus one pay-per-view football game each year. Keeping those rights was a significant equation in the SEC's landmark deal with ESPN in 2008. Could we one day see a Crimson Tide Network or a Gator Network?

Bama lost to #1 LSU
Okie State lost to an unranked team that probably finishes 6-6.
Most voters can't be bothered to look at much more than this.

BCS Championship isn't being aired on an ESPN/ABC affiliate

Yep, the discussion would be lost in here. Once I realized that ESPN is showing the game, I calmed down with the disrespecting LSU thing.

Why a rematch is incredibly disrespectful to LSU amongst others.
also you should include the tidbit on "The Crimson Tide Network"

The rematch itself isn't a disrespect. It just seemed like ESPN was downplaying parts of LSU's season in order to justify the rematch.

yes,..but if Okie St beats Oklahoma, and is THE BIG TWELVE champion..they will move above Bama...have they not said all year, that the Big Twelve was better than the SEC?....they also said on that show, that there wasn't a winner of the LSU/BAMA in the regular season...bullshite...

Why only look at quality losses? Shouldn't quality Wins be just as important if not more important?
