I just read an article that confirms this, I would link it but it is from a private site but...This has to be a great sign for the fighting tigers.

It basically says that Kiel wants to be around for the week of preparation for the SECCG.

He wants to see how we operate as a football program leading up to a big game...!!!

Wonder how realistic of chances he actually comes here are.

Looks a lot better now. He loved the game day atmosphere for the ARK game, and his parents even paid for their own tickets so they could join him as well.

I know Miles is putting in the time.

Does Kiel have any favorites/leaders really?

I saw some thought ND, and then he visited Vandy twice.

ND is still the leader. I'm sure we'll get more info after his visit is over.

This beckons the question.....

Do you take Keil or an athletic QB?

Just look at these names, Athletic QB is the way to go. They add too much to the offense for a defense to scheme for.

Tebow,
V. Young,
Vick,
Newton,

Just think if Andrew Luck had some legs under him. I know he can run, but not like the aforementioned. Those guys dictated the college game.

But can you pass up on a guy like Keil, either?

I'd say they are pretty serious if the dude is already back on campus.

I'm a bit pessimistic myself, but hopefully he'll like the idea of working under Kragthorpe and not being thrown into the SEC fire (as a starter) his freshman year.

Gunner is an EE candidate so he is cramming all his recruitment into the next 2-3 weeks

You also have to look at the number of busts from athletic qbs. Traditional qbs with a little speed are the way to go and much safer.

You never pass on an "Andrew Luck" type of player... If he wants to come to your school, you make room!

Just think if Andrew Luck was surrounded by talent other than 5.0 40 running gingers.

It is still believed that ND leads because A) his uncle was a QB there and B) proximity to home.

Vandy seems to have made a really good impression on him and he has legit interest because of the academics.

I think LSU is currently third but could obviously move up if the visit goes well

What makes Kiel not an athletic QB?

Didn't he run for 400 yards and 5 TD's during his final season?
