For a moment there I thought you had really posted a valid and verified source and it turns out that the survey is based on PayScale An online site that doesn't verify any of the following
-school
-degree
-company/workplace
-job title/position
-salary
Method:

The study, by PayScale, uses pay reports from 1.4 million graduates from U.S. colleges and universities supplied through online pay comparison tools in the past year. The study used pay reports from only full-time U.S. employees with bachelors degrees and no advanced degrees, and pay reports averaged about 1,000 for each of the 554 schools in the study.
Please explain what you find to be illogical about the list.

I think their numbers are off not a little, but a lot.
I did some quick math and they are showing many colleges worth less than the average worker makes a year. And ND degree is only worth 385k more than the average worker over 30 years.
The figures factor in cost of the degree and it is over and above what a typical worker with a high school diploma would earn over thirty years. So as an example, on average, a football grad from LSU would make $600k more over 30 years than a worker with just a HS diploma.

After GK makes about $150 mil in the NFL he can go to Harvard, Yale or Stanford - law school, med school or where ever he wants.
I would make the money and then work on my education like another LSU QB from Indiana did.
He has the rest of his life to educate himself, but only a few short years to play FB.
You really have to throw the "quality of the degree" argument out the window.
Barring injuries and that he lives up to the expectation of course.

This seems more like a case of lies, damned lies and statistics. Can you please provide a link to this study?
Using this

and pulling out only football schools and adjusting the GSR (Graduation Success Rate) to football players only (actually turns out to be more favorable for ND, LSU, and Vandy), you get this:

Yea that guy has 15 posts over the last year. You are right he represents the whole board there.

And as far as an ND or Vandy degree being more valuable than an LSU degree I offer you this:
30 year Football player ROI:
2. Notre Dame $1,575,183
5. Vanderbilt $1,028,732
28. LSU $628,705

What a bunch of sore losers at ND. Irishenvy blog bashing Kiel for pick Lsu when they admit they only got 16 commits so far. Stuff like Lsu degree is worthless etc, all it really shows is how stupid and arrogant they are. Once you in the real world the paper on the wall means nothing either you produce or you don't.
If Kiel picked ND I guarantee there would be posters on this board saying he will amount to nothing there and it is where "5 star QBs go to die." The ones that are saying it are just bitter that he picked LSU, it has nothing to do with arrogance.
Kiel said academics were a top priority and by picking LSU over ND and Vandy it gives the impression that academics were not as high an importance as he said.

That may be too strong. However, it is prudent to continue to pursue all options. I think that Notre Dame would not be pursuing Fuller as a QB if they had Kiel in the bag.
True, he is most definitely not "in the bag," and even if they felt great about their chances that shouldn't stop them from looking at other options. ND had recruited Fuller early in the process but only as a DB/WR and he wants to be a QB. We desperately need athletes so really I think ND's staff is telling him he would get a shot at QB if he came.
I seriously believe it is 50/50 between LSU and ND right now.

Rocket - if ND is starting to move on Devin Fuller, that sure seems to suggest ND is not optimistic about Kiel. Fuller is, however, an electric player and could be a stud.
They started showing interest in Fuller early last week, before the rumors Monday and Tuesday. ND has to cover it's bases if Kiel chooses Vandy or LSU. You guys are still pursuing Alford correct? It has nothing to do with being optimistic about Kiel or not.

I'm pretty sure Wiltfong has better contacts with Kiel since Wiltfong had the contacts to break the story of Kiel to Indiana. And Wiltfong is saying that even Kiel doesn't know yet.
I am sorry but this Gino guy is just trying to make an educated guess based on the last 48 hours. I mean the dude has 41 followers. Give me a break.
Wiltfong would most definitely know before some "southeast recruiting analyst," i can promise you that. He is talking to the family almost daily now and he legitimately believes it could be any team now. He use to think ND led, now it's anyone's guess.

Well one of these is full of shite... unless he intends on annoucing he hasnt made a decision.
I have seen NOTHING that says he is set to announce tomorrow.
Wiltfong talked to the Kiel "camp" and no decision has been made. All rumors are just that, rumors.

I'll share the wealth from an update we had on the ND site:
LSU made up a ton of ground and Gunner is really impressed. He really likes Kragthorpe and how things are run.
If he wasn't an EE and LSU was in it from the beginning I would say that they would have a very good chance at landing him. The problem for the Tigers is that ND has the last visit and South Bend is a short drive from Columbus and distance is a definite factor.
Still perceived he will end up at ND but would not be a shock if he picked LSU.

If you were trying to change the losing attitude that has been present for the last 20 years at ND and aren't living up to the high expectations you expect out of your players I am sure you would be yelling too.
That's not even mentioning that they are 3rd to last in the whole country in turnover margin. I have no problems with him ripping them when they consistently screw up. Seems to work in the military.

I don't think it's that telling. He's an early enrollee. He needs to pick his school quickly. He only has like 2-3 more weeks to make all his visits.
Exactly. He is trying to decide before the holidays which is why everything is so close together. He was already planning to visit ND next weekend and obviously couldn't visit LSU this weekend so it was only logical that he would come during the week.

Does Kiel have any favorites/leaders really?
It is still believed that ND leads because A) his uncle was a QB there and B) proximity to home.
Vandy seems to have made a really good impression on him and he has legit interest because of the academics.
I think LSU is currently third but could obviously move up if the visit goes well

It's just their player awards ceremony for the season. They typically use it as a big recruiting weekend once the season is over.
Gunner is an EE candidate so he is cramming all his recruitment into the next 2-3 weeks

Many have thought he was an ND lock after he decommited from Indiana but his recruitment has been rather puzzling.
He is a very private individual and doesn't really share anything with the analysts.
He is @ LSU currently for an official and will be at Vandy this weekend.
His Notre Dame OV is next weekend for their awards banquet.
I still think he ends up Irish but it is starting to seem like he is looking for a reason to not pick Notre Dame.
