Not only is it NFL QB "History in the making", but it's "The Saints Glory Years" on full throttle.

probably the first quarterback that i've ever seen in a saints uniform where i trust his each and every throw. we really take that for granted.

I hope the Saints Oline can keep him healthy and that Brees can last as long as Favre. It would be really awesome if this can last roughly another 10 years.

Brees is a first ballot HOF'er and one of the greatest pro QBs of all time.

yeah like a little more than 10 years ago we were watching these Billy Joe idiots throw passes and thinking the exact opposite. We'd walk into the dome knowing we had no shot, just going to the games to see how fricked up we could get so we would forget what even happened on Monday.

As the years build up with Brees as our QB, we almost become immune to it. Sometimes we just need to step back and realize what the hell we are watching. Otherwise it will just pass us up.

we've won 35 games since week 1, 2009. that's fricking insane considering our history.

Voted the second most liked player in the NFL by his peers, behind only Polomalu. Brees Transcends the sport. As great as he is on the field, and pound for pound, there has never been anyone better, His character and heart has elevated an entire state. Perhaps the most important Figure Louisiana has seen in the past 50 years.

This is not Hyperbole

I'd like to think that I do...but I think that we won't truly recognize it until after Drew retires.

That said, you are correct...appreciate it and enjoy it while we have it.

The saints are 97 games under .500 in their history.

they are at .428% all-time (going into 2011) ahead of arizona, atlanta and tampa (houston as well but they're really new) LINK

We are witnessing the height of greatness at the QB position and the peak of the golden age of the Saints. These are the years we will look back on tearfully one day and say "Damn, you remember when we had Brees..."..as if there would be any doubt

Drew Brees

This +1. Between the Saints and the Tigers my Good Times list needs more printer ink fast.

So you're saying our franchise is all down hill after this run... Maybe Drew is our Favre or Montana and we'll be able to snag a Young or Rodgers up.
