We should believe this prediction of yours because you were so correct about the outcome of the LSU-Oregon game!

Good post, I am hearing the same thing here in California. They are saying LSU earned it and Bama should not be there.

So, does this mean that the Members of the "I heart Apple" club at some rural high school in Oregon will NOT tune in? Really?

Hell it will be past their bedtime after half anyway.

This is a prettys severe blow, we better hunker down to survive this shite storm.

Get better football teams.

This. SEC has the two best teams in the country. Don't like it? Don't get beat down in the first game of the year then drop another primetime game against USC when your title hopes are on the line.

Everyone wants to bitch every single year that the SEC is overrated, blah blah blah....shut us up...don't lose to use in major games....don't lose 2-3 games every year to inferior teams....SEC will continue to dominate until you stop us.

No one is going to boycott anything. People are going to watch the game. The rest of the country is just throwing a tantrum b/c "All da wittle 2 and 3 woss teams got dere feelins huwt". Cry me a river.

I completely agree with the first poster. Alabama has no business in the BCS over a 1 loss conference champion. Anyone who disagrees is deluding themselves. If OK st or VA Tech win their conference one of them should get in.

I agree that your average college football fan will not be very excited about a rematch. I can't imagine a boycott, but interest would probably be down. But to answer your questions:

1. Most LSU fans don't care whether anyone else watches.

2. Most SEC fans don't care whether anyone else watches.

3. Bama is the second best team, and it's not even close. There are human pollsters all over the country voting Alabama No. 2. They are not part of the monopoly. And they are not just doing what Les tells them to do.

4. For all of those who "lost respect" for Les for saying he would welcome a rematch with Bama, there is no good way to answer that question other than the way he did.

5. Finally, if Oregon and Stanford were voted to play for the title, I suspect we would all be complaining about the schedule they played, and I don't hear anyone saying that about LSU's schedule this year.

Have I answered all of your questions?

I am just pointing out that he has been very wrong in the recent past about outcomes. I beleive he is wrong about his OP also, the ratings may not be as big as the original match up but not because of a boycott. Many watched the LSU-Alabama original game because it had a big impact on each of their respective teams.

I agree with this. I was just being sarcastic about what he said on the previous page when he almost had a coronary.

College football - where the game of the century can become completely irrelevant in two weeks.

I wonder if you would say the same tune if in a given year Oregon and Stanford were undefeated until they met and after, and all other teams had lost 2 or more... except Oregon and Stanford. And both those teams got to get in the title, even though from the same Conference, and same division. Or heck, from the same state, such as Oregon and Oregon State, if they did. You are telling me the people from SEC land would not have any problem with such and such teams playing from the same Conference who already met?

But the point here is, you wouldn't be complaining about the above referenced match up, now would you? Now honestly, would you?

If Okie State wins on Saturday in a blow out get ready for the lobbying of voters to put them #2. There will be a anti-SEC back lash.

Buddy, you are totally missing my point with your coach, who i like btw. I was saying that in 2007 he gave a Maxim saying, "If a team cannot win their Conference they should not be able to play for the Title". But now, he is silent on that. And my contention is, if that was a true Maxim in 2007, why is not not still true today. And if is true today, why is he silent on it. I went into this issue in depth. You might want to try reading back a few pages from my current post now as I give the real reason why he said it at the time and its meaning...

Yes, you did go in to depth about this---to the point of questioning the mans morality. How can you not realize that this is an over reaction to the point that it appears you might have some kind of agenda? We get it, you think Miles should now be spokesman for non conference champions being unable to play for the national championship. Get a life--he may still believe that but if he doesn't speak up on the subject to your satisfaction, you'll just have to deal with it. With all that's going on in college football this year, you have blown this way out of proportion by comparison.

My post has NOTHING to do with my team! How many times must I say that dumbfricks?

How long does it take for you all to stick your head out of your own arse?

Even more, can you even read? Why do you go out of your way to assume things that are not true? Are you that retarded? That you that inbreed?

I post something, and then all Dumbfricks show up and assume the opposite minus a few bright LSU fans... What is wrong with your fricking brains Dumbfricks? Do you even have one?

I do confess that with you all, I must be dealing with the most Dumbfrick crowd on the planet. If you would just read my points, instead of making up what you guessed I am saying... Dumb pieces of retards... Is there hardly a bright one among you?

Why, again, is this a-hole here? Aren't we done with Oregon?
