After being down 14 and then scoring a TD, the crowd was ready. I think tying the score on top of the punt return added to the excitement.

What made it so exciting is that every soul in that stadium was hoping it would happen, only to see it unfold before our very eyes. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

Another thing is everybody knew he was going to score when he was on Arkansas 35.

not the return, but those first 3 plays of the game with ark on offense in the SEZ was maybe the loudest ive ever heard tiger stadium

This play peaked on my Decibel Reader I bring to the games. It hit 113 Decibels.

113? Wow. Isn't 120 a jet engine or something like that?
ETA: I just looked it up. A jet engine is 130 db.

I was in sec 303 about 6 rows up from the field and it made my ears hurt. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

'Twas definitely loud when TM ran the punt back but, as others have said, it was pretty loud the entire game.

This!
Been going to games since 88 and this was possibly the loudest I've heard it. The first few mins of the game the SEZ was Vibrating. Couldn't imagine what the hog fans in the corner felt like.

I read a quote where TM said he could feel the stadium shaking under his feet as he reached the endzone.

I was in 417 and there were a number of times I couldn't hear anything and I couldn't feel my face from the noise being so intense.

I tackled my friend and cut my leg open in celebration. But yeah it was soooo damn loud.

Yeah solid performance. Only time I've heard anything close to 130 was the 07 Florida game which I believe was 127 and the Saints/Vikings NFC Title game at 129. Tiger Stadium and the Superdome may never be that loud again. It was just insane!

The crowd overall even when down 14-0 was very loud and it affected Wilson and the razorbacks from start to finish. The play from Mathieu was easily the loudest moment.
I might add that the atmosphere after the game on campus around the stadium was rather electric![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)
