Petrino Anger and General Thoughts...

I think Bobby was more upset with the deep ball to the endzone before the FG. And if you remember, last year we could have punched one in late in the game but didn't. It doesn't matter to me...if you can't stop the other team then they deserve to score. Play better if you don't want to get embarrassed.
We're pretty good...definitely have improved over the past few years but haven't reached the upper plateau of Bama or LSU. Our skill players are there on offense (our o-line needs more experience), but our defense is way behind. We need better players...I do no think scheme is the issue.
Anyways, good game and good luck next week. I like how this game or rivalry if you will is starting to gain some steam (close games that mean something and starting to get some emotion). Have a good rest of the weekend...

Petrino is full of crap. Arkansas threw TD passes when they were up 35-7 against Tennessee with 11 minutes left in the game and against frickin New Mexico when they were up 38-3 with 12 mi utes to go. He needs to shut the frick up. Plus, he is a big quitter anyway with the way ran out of Atlanta before the season was even over.

there is absolutely nothing that can be said that would be a valid excuse for petrino's behavior.
news flash: pretty much everyone that follows SEC football knows petrino is a complete tool. this isnt just LSU fans

Oh the Falcon thing never gets old. I think that has been talked to death. Like I said, I don't care if an offense runs it's gameplan for the whole game...if you can't stop them than that's your own problem.

I could really care less what opposing schools think of our coach. Your coach eats grass? Who cares. When did football become a game when everyone is supposed to be nice and sit in a circle and sing camp songs?

What does get old is a coach who has run up scores his entire career (Louisville and Arkansas) complaining about his arse kicked. The only time he didnt run up scores was in the NFL because he stunk and quit on the team, players, and the fans.

That was a nasty play but I do believe the drive of the FG there was a deep throw...I can't remember exactly though. That's what I think he was upset about...it doesn't matter anyway. We were done.

BP is competitive...he is just ticked off from realizing he is a long long way way away from winning an MNC in Fayetteville.

If that is what BP is upset over, I cannot understand it. And, we did take a knee at the end of the game like BP did last year.
But aside from that, BP should be happy with that play because we stopped the clock. I wanted to run to use time or make BP take a time out.

As previously mentioned, if you want to line up in base, we'll line up and run. If you want to blitz corners and backers, we're going to throw on you. This wasn't the end of our season. We aren't going to spend the last 10 minutes of the game getting stoned, running into the teeth of a blitzing defense. It's bad for morale. Get over it.

I agree...I was simply stating that as the reason that BP might have been upset.
