It was a stupid play but I hope all of those fans that booed have explosive diarrhea tonight.
Yeah, kinda my thoughts. I think people are off base saying, "It was stupid cause there was a defender right there!" Especially since the stills show that's not true at all.
It was just ugly looking and any time the ball is floating there's inherent risk involved.
As for the boos, doesn't shock me.

Im a Lee Fan, I think he got treated like a stepchild. That being said, Jefferson is a winner, no doubt about it. This team is so good that they can truly win in spite of mistakes in ANY game. That being said, I'm concerned that JJ will do something very stupid, as he does routinely, once or twice in each game, that will cost us the NC. JL has also made costly mistakes as in the Alabama game. I just think JL gives us more consistency at the position. I think in a rematch for the NC both should see PT, depending on whats working

It's amazing to me how many people think Lee got a "bad deal" but are completely okay with people shitting all over Jefferson at every waking moment.
Also, the same people who mock me routinely for analyzing Lee's throws, showing up in this thread to debate this play just makes me![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconrotflmao.gif)

BAMA WAS RECRUITING JJ???
LSU was only major D1 program that offered him.
You need to go back and see his scouting report from his HS senior year. It wasn't until he was seen at a Bama game with recruits that we looked at him. He was the starting QB for a 5A state championship team that was undefeated - so you say that we were the only school '''' Not So"'''' we don't recruit players that are not wanted by other schools.

This needs to be repeated.

Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Stanford, AND Alabama are not division 1 schools?

In the four losses, LSU did not have a back rush for over 100 yards. In fact, in the four losses, LSU did not rush for over 100 yards and only came close to it once.
Why are you leaving out YPC? The RBs were very limited in their attempts. Against UF, Charles Scott had 13 carries for 53 yards, giving him a 4.1 YPC average. That is not spectacular but it's certainly serviceable. Do you expect him to get 7.7 YPC instead, with no real passing game to take pressure off the run? That's not very reasonable.
The OL play was certainly suspect, and Crowton was not very good, but we had one of the worst passing attacks in the country that year with Brandon Lafell, Terrance Toliver, Rueben Randle, Russell Shepard, and Trindon Holliday on our team.

Please. Who was the QB of the 1958 team (FYI - last name starts with an R)? Do you think Mauck or Flynn are legends? Get a grip on life, bro.
Warren Rabb. An' I figure I'm late with the info on that one. But, as your post suggests, LSU's Nat'l Championships weren't won with great, legendary QBs. Bert Jones didn't get one, Y.A.Tittle didn't get one, JaMarcus Russell couldn't collect a ring. . . It's sort of like Pete Maravich never beating Kentucky, or the team with Chris Jackson, Vernel Singleton, Shaquille O'Neal, Stanley Roberts, etc not winning the NCAA b-ball tourney. It takes a team, not superstars.

JJ did his best 2010 Drew Brees impression on that play.
That play was one of only two terrible plays he had on Friday.

Right now? We could be at an important breakthrough in Rantard relations. What time factor or other event is involved in your rationale?

i can also guarantee that if Lee had made those horrible plays you wouldn't have heard one boo. take that however you want...but its a fact.
Choctaw, you mad because JJ isn't a fan fav? Let's get two things straight:
1.) JJ is the undisputed starting QB and nothing besides the BRPD is going to change that.
2.) (as posted earlier) JJ never was and will never be a fan favorite. Don't like it? Learn to deal with it.

No excuse for booing our own players but until we started to get him protection, he was very shaky.
Posted on 11/27/11 at 4:06 pm to heathpiffhuxtable
People should never boo their own team or players. That is a fact. JJ had a terrible beginning in the game and it was a culmination of plays plus the panic flip that set some off. Again, no one should boo our players or team. But for the ones that keep bring up race. Poor JL got bood horribly when he was just a freshman. By the same idiot fans. Some fans are going to boo. They feel they have the right. I disagree.

everybody bailed on an 18 year old freshman having a championship caliber team hoisted on him when perilloux was kicked off. now everybody bailed on him again after "a few bad plays" against Alabama.

He was given the chance to turn the game around. Correct decision. Don't bail on a QB after a few bad plays.
yeah.
Just like J. Lee after two bad throws.

Seriously?
We were playing Bama's defense and any mistake would've/could've cost us the game.
Miles pulled Lee because he had a better running option / control option with JJ. Not because he hates Lee, like all you idiots want everybody to believe.
