I hate trick plays, pound it baby, just pound it. Grind them into the dirt till they cry uncle.
Tigers win every time. No need to trick, better yet, tell them what play we running!!!!!

The lack of trickery is all the more proof that Gary Crowton was behind all the trick play calling. Miles just gave the green light to them.

I'd lay money Crowton had a hand in most of the time-management snafu's, too.

Forget what game it was in but Ware threw a pass to someone but it was incomplete.

This was WV as well.

Thank you!! It's been bugging me as to what game it was in.

We ran the 4th and 1 Alabama play against West Virginia.

The only thing about it was it was called at a terrible time (1st and 10) and lost yardage.

It's weird people forgot that. But my LSU football mind is a steel trap.

Crowton was an embarrassment to our program and SEC football in general. I think Maryland is finding that out the hard way.

How do you think we beat bama? We threw them off by not faking injuries, gimmick plays, or crazy antics. We tricked them by playing straight up football

Pooch kick or whatever you may call it on a kickoff against MSU. did not work..but somewhat of a trick play?

Not one that strikes a memory.

The one I am looking for.... Halfback pass from Terrance Magee. He played QB in HS and looked like Michael Vick out there including he is left handed. He was a dual threat as a HS QB and most people aint looking for a left handed passer on a trick play.
Magee has also played the "big game" in the Dome.

Lee faked a pitch in last weeks game.

Also, Lee running the option was a mind blowing fakeout to me. Did not see that coming.

Not sure if it was a called play but Brad Wings TD that was called back against Auburn...May have been more of a read than a trick play.

Not a trick play but worthy of mention:

There was a 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 against West Virginia where we crowded the line of scrimmage and had been pounding it through the whole drive, and then Lee fakes to Ware, drops back and throws a bomb to Beckham for a TD.

Lee's toss sweep to Ford was a trick play in Miles mind. Coach not happy....

That counter play that Hilliard ran against Auburn was a little tricky. I think they ran it again vs ole piss to the other side.
