I watched the new LesMiles.Net highlight video of last week's game. Ole Miss is the WORST team we've played this year. They're worse than NW ST, and WKU. They're horrific.

How did Arky need a come from behind win? Did Mackey make that much of a difference, or Nutt going all out wanting vengeance vs Arky? I know the transitive property means nothing in football, but I'm pretty confident that if Vandy gave Arky a close game, we'll give them a bayou beatdown.

Mackey is decent. (Why wasn't he the starter the entire season?)

It was Houston Nutt's super bowl.

11 AM game.

Our O-line was still coming together.

If you have to make excuses for why you struggle against bad teams, I can't wait to hear the ones you'll come up with starting Saturday.

The OP asked why we struggled with Ole Miss. I gave him an answer .

Obviously, we are better than a 5-point win over Ole Miss. Should have won by more, no doubt.

Doesn't matter. Ole Miss is equivelant to a D-III program. You guys should have thrashed them by 40, playing in a snowstorm at midnight in Houston Nutt's living room while the crowd shot poison darts at you from the stands.

You should've shredded them. You have one of the best offenses that ever existed, right? They (Ole Miss) are the among the worst in the SEC.

La. Tech beat them, in Oxford, by 20.

LA. TECH.

Teams evolve throughout the year. Some teams get better, some teams get worse. I think Arkansas has gotten better while Ole Miss has pretty much just given up.

Its that simple.

I haven't seen his excus....er, reasons why they struggled against them.

While he's at it, talk about the game vs. Troy too.

Not that if would have made much difference but they are without most of thier backfield. They may have scored a TD.

Why did LSU only beat Mississippi State by 13? We beat them by 27.

Transitive property doesn't work in football.

No,we obviously weren't playing great. But anyone who has watched our past 3 games knows that we have improved.

You must not of watched the State game. We only won by 13 but the game was never in question. I watch ARky vs ole miss. The game was as close as the score would indicate.

If you think Houston Nutt cares half as much about beating MSU as he does Arkansas, you don't know much about Houston Nutt.

Perfectly honest reasons we struggled early -

1 - We didn't play focused early. No way around it.

2 - Nutt had been focused on that game for weeks prior.

3 - Ole Miss actually has pretty good athletes. He won't leave the cupboard completely bare.
