My 10 year old nephews first buck ! title fixed, meant to say first buck

Nice buck, he's ruined now. You're supposed to start off with a doe or spike.


Looks like he put a good shot on him.

congrats! helping a kid kill their first deer is a great experience. It helps when they kill a nice buck for sure.

I did ruin him. I wasnt expecting to see nothing like that but he showed up not 40 yards away from us and I had already told em anything in his range he could shoot. We seen two spikes yesterday and he was begging to shoot them but I woudn`t let him. He is happy he didn`t shoot them now.

It is a model 700 270. It was awesome to be with him when he got his first one. I think I was more excited than him

He shot a doe and spike last year with my dad. His first shot at a rack buck though. I told him he doesn`t realize what he has done for his buck!

I hate how people take pictures with the rifle facing towards them with the bolt closed. nice buck, though. congrats

Direct experience with this. My first rack a 12 point at 15 awesome at the time, sucks ever since. No buck will live up to it in my mind
