There are so many of you on this board that contradict yourself.
You are happy that we are 10-0, but you are unhappy about the way Les Miles is managing the team.
You are excited about the possibility about playing in another National Championship, but you are unhappy about not having enough night games in Tiger Stadium because CBS picked us for their 2:30 slot.
You love the fact that we beat Alabama & Oregon but are upset about that we came out a little flat against WKU.
And last but certainly not least...You support the players but it seems when they need you the most (Jefferson, Mathieu, Lee, etc.) you'll be the first to caste a stone straight at their head.

All I'm saying is that as a fan base, we should support this team and everything that goes along with it. *The good and the bad* Regardless of what your opinions may be.

~An LSU Alumnus who is extremely proud of this damn strong football team and everything that we have overcome~

The adversity that this team has overcame, and to still be in the position that they are in... is truly remarkable.
I'll always choose to be a glass half full kind of fan though. I appreciate your comments though notslim99

We're a very "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times" fanbase.

Yes, we should always be ready to turn on the team in case something like that happens.

Its all about me me me and my opinions in here, that is the mentality every ranter thinks its their right to display on here........logic almost always never prevails. You should know better than to expect anything otherwise.

None of those are contradictions IMO (other than the last one about players). Supporting your team does not mean you can't discuss its shortcomings.

... and how many threads can we start that are:

"Yay! We're 10-0!"

... not nearly as many JJ/JL threads!

The Penn State, Ohio State, Miami and USC issues could have happened to any school. No school can 100% control the actions of their players, coaches or administrators.
But it is up to those fan bases to still support their team. Am I wrong in saying that? I don't think so

We're a fanbase that sees the same glass as being half full and half empty at the same time.

I was referring to the "everything that goes with it" remark, nothing more. Sometimes, as in the case of Penn State, there are things that come along that you may not support.
